Chapter 3 of 13 - There's A Difference...

Goldy and Silver hung out with their new friends for the whole week. Each day, they learned something new, something that made them go "Wow, seriously?!" It was fantastic. Goldy and Silver began to find new interests, as well! Silver decided to join Ivory's computer class, and found pleasure in graphic design and electronic art. Goldy, however, found something quite the contrary: rock collecting! Apparently, Layla was training to be a mage, which is basically someone who could harness magic and auras and do all sorts of crazy things with that magic. One of the things she used in her spells was a small sack of these rocks called "Witching Stones", which were normal stones that had been imbued and infused with special magic. Goldy found pleasure in finding pretty rocks and giving the to Layla for her to enchant. The twins also found that they favored some classes over others. For example, Silver wasn't very sporty for gym class, but he always aced it in English. Goldy couldn't STAND English, and much preferred blowing things up during chemistry. Being so different, the twins balanced each other out very well, keeping their other half in check. Some people in the school, however, didn't seem to understand the twins' differences... Silver was hanging out in the library, teaching Ivory how to import prints onto her online drawing, when a cheerleader walked up to them. "Hey, your name is Silver, right?" she asked. "Yes, that would be me," Silver replied. "Okay, but where's your twin? You guys should both be here, right?" Silver and Ivory looked at each other uncertainly. "...no, my sister's by the beach next to the school" Silver said. "What do you mean by 'we should both be here'?" "Well, you guys are twins, right?" the girl responded. "It just seems odd that you two aren't in the same place. Anyways, I just wanted to know where she was. Later!"Then she skipped away, leaving Silver and Ivory with confused looks on their faces. The assumptions didn't stop there, though. People didn't seem to understand the fact that these two people were different. They expected the twins to have the same interests, same classes, and same friends. But... they didn't. At least nothing serious was happening... yet...
