As I walked down the long corridor to find my new homeroom, I passed a group of three girls who looked about my age, but very popular. A blonde haired girl with designer jeans whispered to her friends,
"Oh em gee, where does she get those clothes?" They all giggled.
A girl with sunglasses said, "Yes. Those are so ugly She totes got them at..."! A redhead leaned in and giggled,
"The dump?" Then they laughed hysterically. I looked down at myself. What was wrong with my clothes? I was wearing what I had worn to my best friends bat mitzvah two years ago...a sweatshirt and leggings. Those girls didn't know what they were talking about.
I stopped at the bathroom to smooth out my hair, and then I found my classroom. I nervously creaked open the door.
There, surrounding the only empty seat in the room, were Blondie, Redhead, and Sunglasses.
