14 year old Harper was running away, her dad was a drug addict and she never knew her mom. The night she ran away was when her dad slapped her, he had never hurt her before and it scared her so she ran away. She was walking down the street and then this huge bull with horns and red eyes appeared out of nowhere.
It looked at her with its red bloodthirsty eyes and started to charge. She screamed and started running. She ran as fast as she could down many streets through allys and small roads. The bull was closing in and she started to think that she wasn't going to make it out alive when something caught her eye. It was a symbol on a wall of an ally with a young boy next to it. He was beckoning to her, yelling at her to come to him. She ran as fast as she could and as soon as she reached the ally the bull hit her with his horns and sliced her leg.
She felt pain shooting up her leg. More painful then when she broke her foot, it felt like someone ripped off her leg. She screamed and fell into the ally but she didn't hit the ground. The boy caught her, she screamed for him to leave her and run for his life but all he did was point at the front of the ally that she had just come through. Harper gasped, there was a blue barrier protecting them from the bull at the mouth of the ally. The boy got up, grabbed a sword from the ground, where had that come from? She thought. He went up to the barrier that had trapped the bull and stabbed it in the heart. It died almost instantly and turned to dust. Then the boy turned around and said " Hi, I'm Brody."
