Brody and I talked with our parents for about three hours. It was an amazing afternoon. I cant believe that woman was my mother I mean she gorgeous! Anyway I made a dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes, and fresh corn from the garden. I gave mom a tour of the house and she lover it and said it was a grand house. We talked for a while, it was awesome. I love my mom and Apollo is quite charming and he took Brody out to go see him shoot a bow and arrow and to work on his sword work. I'm guessing it went well because he came back with a big grin on his face. Before they left Brody pulled mom out in the hallway and talked to her for a minute I dont know why but anyway then mom came back and gave me a kiss on the cheek. They said their goodbyes and then left.
The next day. We just arrived at a new fancy, and super expensive restaurant for a date. I ordered shrimp scampi and Brody ordered steak and mashed potatoes. We talked the whole time mostly about meeting our parents and a little about jobs and new store we wanted to check out. When we finished eating we went outside and strolled in the park for a while. We walked under a fairy lighted arch when Brody stopped. We were facing each other and I loved every second of it. " From the second we met I knew we were perfect for each other, he began, I love your funny personality, your amazing cooking, and every little thing about you. I want to spend every single moment with you for the rest of our lives. So Harper....." then he gets down on one knee and I gasp. He pulls out a beautiful, huge, diamond ring and says " will you Harper Smith....... do me the favor of marrying me? I look at him through misty eyes and say " YES! Yes, I will marry you!!! He stands up and kisses me and it feels like there is fireworks all around us, and that's just the way I want it to be.
