Brody grinned, " how ya feeling?" He went up to her and checked her leg which was still bleeding. "I'm just going to bandage this is that ok?" Harper nodded. While he was bandaging her leg she studied him, " man isn't he hot" she thought. She would be turning 15 in 2 weeks and she had never had a boyfriend before. She noticed that he had dirty blonde hair, a very defined jawline, piercing green eyes, and had freckles peppering his nose. He startled her from her staring when he said " man the minotaur got you good," " the what????!!! You mean the minotaur, like the one from the Greek myths?" Yes, Brody replied.
This scared Harper even more then her dad hurting her. She thought they were just myths not real. " You mean that thing was chasing me, why?" " I don't know, he said, probably because you're a demigod." WHAT!!!!!! " Those are kids of the gods I am defiantly not one, I just know it." " Do you have a parent that has been gone since you were born?" " Well yes, my mom, but what does that have to do with it?" " It means, he said, that your mom is a goddess, I mean my dad is the god Apollo, so why can't your mom be one?" " I don't know." So that's why he has such good looks, she thought.
All of the sudden Brody backed up with a horrified look. She looked above her head and there was a symbol, the symbol of who her mom was.
