Kayla is a nameless orphan, who is being ill-treated by her foster family. She runs away, only to fall in the hands of other foster families, who treat her worse than ever. Kayla soon discovers she has a half-older sister, who betrayed her, but lived a life of misery. Kayla can't do anything but save Karen, or worse, become a slave.
"STOP!" Officer Annabelle shouted.
The plane landed softly.
I saw Mr.and Mrs.Marron running in the distance. YES. YES. YES!
Ms.Vicky came out, with her hands up.
"You are going to go to jail for false adoption and child abuse!" Officer Annabelle said.
"Wait, you knew she was the one who adopted Karen years and years ago?!" I cried.
Officer Annabelle smiled. "Yes, I did,"
Faith, Sienna and Amy-Allen were going to go with the Child Protective Services to a new orphanage.
The whole story:
"First, Kayla was adopted by the Bitermanns years ago when her parents abandoned her. Apparently, her sister Karen here was still in college and she realized that happened. So Karen took Kayla to an adoption centre. Ms.Vicky fake adopted her to make her a servant at her orphanage. At that time, she was a criminal. Kayla was adopted by the Bitermanns. They gave fake news to the police when Kayla actually ran away because she was being ill-treated by them. She ended up at Ms.Vicky's orphanage and along with the help of another girl, named Sophia, they broke out of the orphanage because they were being ill-treated there too. Then, Sophia found her aunt and went to live with her again. Ms.Vicky had kidnapped Sophia a long time ago. Kayla found Mr.Marron, and the Marrons took her in. Serena, Sally and Kayla didn't like their little sister Kelly, so they threw her down the river but because of guilt, they went to look for her and were missing for almost 2 months. They were kidnapped by Ms.Vicky. However, they kept escaping the orphanage but Ms.Vicky found ways to get them back. Just a few days back, Kayla found some papers at the orphanage which connected to her childhood and how her parents abandoned her. The children somehow found Kelly there (of course, Ms.Vicky kidnapped her) and they escaped with Karen, because they found out they were actually sisters. Ms.Vicky followed them and got hold of Kelly and were about to take her to Las Vegas and they had stolen a plane. Just now, the plane landed on the ground and finally, we've got them,"
Officer Norbury and Officer Annabelle made it all clear.
And of course, that was the story.
I couldn't believe it. It had been over 2-3 months and I had met new people, made new friends and some enemies too! What an adventure!
Of course, the Bitermanns would have to sign some contracts and be answerable to the court for child abuse, but that's another story.
I was so happy I'd found a family, friends (Sophia) and a home to live in.
I know I'll probably never see my real parents again, but I have Karen.
And Serena, and Sally and Kelly and Sophia (we're going to visit her sometime).
And Mr.and Mrs.Marron.
And a happily ever after for us.
Serena and Sally know how to love their sister now and I'm sure they're happy.
Which I think is enough, instead of trying to go after people who don't care, go to people who will actually care about you.
