I woke up in a dark dungeon-like room. I looked around.
It was my old bedroom. In the Bitermanns' house, obviously.
Back then, I was eight. The Bitermanns let me sleep in the basement (it was horrible). Nora was annoying me a lot.
She was calling me names, slapping me and kicking me constantly.
I was getting annoyed, and I was only eight.
So, I punched her right in the nose. It began bleeding.
Nora wailed her loudest. She screamed, kicked and cried.
Mr. and Mrs. Bitermann came rushing in. When they asked what happened, Nora stifled a sob:
"She-she punched me,"
I gave an indignant gasp. "She was kicking me, calling me n-"
"No mum, dad, it's not true," Nora interrupted. "She kicked me, hit me and-"
I protested. "I did not-"
Mr. and Mrs. Bitermann were quite angry with me. Nora had not completely lied, because I HAD punched her. But I never kicked her or hit her.
Mrs.Bitermann took 'poor' Nora to her room and you can guess, Mr.Bitermann was getting ready for my punishment.
He picked up a stick nearby and began hitting me like crazy.
I had wailed and sobbed in pain.
Then I fainted.
Mr.Bitermann gave me a new room, but it wasn't nice at all. It was this room I was lying in, the dark dungeon-like bedroom which I hated.
