Eversince Kelly had gone, Mrs.Marron was sad.
Very sad.
Depressed.
Mr.Marron was...well...also sad.
The way they acted the whole week was worse than the Bitermanns.
One day this Wednesday, Serena randomly walked up to me and Sally, (we were playing with slime) and said, "Hey guys, don't you feel a little sorry for what we did to Kelly?"
I was shocked.
Okay, I was and wasn't at the same time.
The Marrons are kind, but they have their bad times.
"Yeah, I feel bad," Sally agreed.
I nodded. "Maybe we should apologize to your parents,"
"Do you think we could go look for Kelly? To show we're really sorry?" Serena added. "I mean, Kelly was standing next to the train track, not on it. She must've got on the train really fast or something,"
Makes sense. But go look for Kelly?
So we went and apologized to their parents.
They forgave us. Then we told them that we could go look for Kelly.
"Girls, it's no use. She got hit by the train,"
Serena explained her theory of Kelly still being alive.
Mr.and Mrs.Marron shook their heads.
"We already lost Kelly, we don't want to lose you girls,"
We retreated to our bedrooms.
"Maybe we should go look for Kelly, even if Mom and dad won't let us. We could leave a note for them and leave tonight, secretly," said Sally.
"Yeah," Serena said. "But I still hate Kelly. It's only for mom and dad,"
I rolled my eyes.
"Well should we? I mean, we're risking our own lives," I said.
"We have to. For mom and dad," said Serena.
Yeah, we should.
So the plan was made.
We packed a few bags full of sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, food, water, clothes and essentials.
Then we wrote a note to Mr.and Mrs.Marron:
'Dear mom and dad (and Mr.and Mrs.Marron to Kayla),
We're really sorry for what we did to Kelly. I know we did a really unforgivable thing. So, we have gone to look for Kelly. If you don't find us in our beds next morning. I know we're disobeying you by doing this, but we still have hope for Kelly. Besides, we weren't born pessimists. We're really sorry once again. We'll see you, when we find Kelly. Please don't call the police.
Love, Serena, Sally and Kayla.'
And that night, we left.
