Chapter 11: Kelly gotta go
"I just hate, hate, hate Kelly," said Serena, angrily.
It was Saturday, and me, Sally and Serena were sitting in the backyard, playing games.
"Why?" I asked.
Serena turned to look at me. "Don't you HATE her? She's such a crybaby. She broke Sally's color pencils last week AND she tore my homework as well,"
"She's a baby," I shrugged.
"Look Kayla, don't you get it?" Sally began. "Kelly's the worst baby ever, so I think we should get rid of her,"
I couldn't believe it.
Well, okay. Kelly WAS an annoying baby. Last week:
1) She had screamed so loud at night that I woke up, thinking that there was a murder going on (it was a seriously bad shock)
2) She kept saying "GOOD MORNING SISSY!" to Serena, Sally and I, which was disturbing (how many times do you say good morning a day?).
3) Next, she broke a stone model I had worked on so hard, last week, along with Sally. And guess what, she didn't even get punished.
4) She kept annoying me, Sally and Serena. So Serena slapped her. Kelly began crying (the most annoying sound ever) and Mrs.Marron put Serena in a timeout.
5) Kelly keeps popping up out of corners and ruining a lot of things.
Which is why I don't like Kelly much. But I mean, she's a three year old sister, what do you expect?
But Sally and Serena were prepared to hate her.
"We need to get rid of her," said Serena, concluding our chat.
"Girls!" shouted Mrs.Marron. "We're going on a picnic to the river in 15 minutes! Come on in!"
YAY!
Suddenly, Serena had a vicious smile on her face. "I have an idea to get rid of-"
"GIRLS!"
"Coming!" we shouted.
Later, we were all ready to go.
Serena had told me and Sally her plan, and it was cruel. But I don't know, I just- agreed.
We took a big basket for our plan.
Then, we packed a pink bag full of clothes and things for Kelly.
"Let's go," said Mrs.Marron cheerfully.
We packed into the golf cart and left.
We were almost to the river. And our plan. It made a sinking feeling in my stomach.
Serena and Sally looked happy, though. I don't know if anyone had so much settled hate.
"Okay girls, while you play, I'm going to take a nap," said Mrs.Marron, spreading out the picnic blanket. "And what's the basket for?"
"Oh, just some games," Serena lied.
"Okay. Well, don't go near the river," said Mrs.Marron, settling for sleep.
"Better and better," Sally said and then we carried out our plan.
"Hey Kelly" Serena shouted. "Do you wanna go on a boat ride with us?"
"Yay! Kelly wanna play with sisters!" cried Kelly happily.
Serena ignored her. "Okay, get into this boat and we'll go down the river,'
Kelly looked uncertain. "But mummy said not to go into the river,"
"Whatever, get in the basket," said Serena sternly. "GET IN THE BASKET!"
Kelly began to cry.
"You know what," asid Serena, turning to me and Sally. "We'll do it ourselves,"
So we carried the crying Kelly near the edge of the river.
"And here we go, Sally and Kayla. ONE, TWO, THR-"
"I don't think we should do this,"
"SHUT UP, Sally! ONE, TWO-"
"I don't think we should-"
"OOF, KAYLA! ONE TWO THREE GO!"
And we threw Kelly down the river.
