Chapter 6 of 6 - Origin: Known

“Phew, that was close!” Kile exclaimed. “Hey! I can see the castle!” There it was, the giant castle, only about two miles away. Out of excitement, Ginger stomped on the gas pedal and the coat jerked forward… “We're here!” Quintus shouted, jumping up from his seat and getting a good look at the castle. Ginger pressed the stop pedal in front of him and the coat slowed to a stop. Its wings slowed down, and the coat was gradually lowered to the ground. The doors of the moonstone castle flew open, and two people came running: a women with curly brown hair tied up in a neat bun, dressed in a long white gown and silver tiara with neon yellow stars at the tips, and a man who had red hair and jolly blue eyes. “Ginger!” They cried. “How do you know my name?” Ginger asked, surprised at his words. “Oh, we are terribly sorry. May we explain it inside?” The woman asked with a small frown. “Ooh yes! Please bring your friends in too!” She added. “Um, ok. C'mon guys!” Said Ginger. Quintus, Kile, Tommy and Ginger walked into the castle together. The castles inside was huge, with many rooms, and the King and Queen lead Ginger and his friends to the living room. They all sat down in front of a fireplace on comfy armchairs. “I know that you have probably been waiting for a long time to see us, and we apologize,” The King started. The Queen nodded. “First of all, we had you. We named you Ginger Toac, and we raised you until you were a year old old. One day, we brought you outside to look at the stars that you would one day fly among. Your father even made you a starship, and we see that somehow you rode it here to us! How splendid! Anyway, on that horrible night a sandstorm began. It picked you up, up and away, and we thought you had disappeared from us forever. How did you get that suit? How did you learn?” Said Queen Toac. “I don't remember what happened exactly, but Quintus did find me in the clock shop and raise me. My dream was to find you and sail the coat.” Ginger replied. “Coat?” His father asked. “Well it said “coat” on it.” “Ooh yes. It said “coat ←”. We call it a starship, but you can call it whatever you want.” Said King Toac. Ginger smiled. “So… what do you mean “fly among the stars”? And also, how did you get those neon stars?” Ginger asked. “The neon stars are glowing because of stardust, and your job is to fly to the stars and give them stardust, which creates starlight. We'll show you how it works.” The Queen Toac replied. “Where do I get stardust?” Ginger asked. “Well, everything is stardust, but the type we use comes from shooting stars. You see, shooting stars are really just clumps of rock, but when the get hot while going through our atmosphere, they crumble and turn into stardust. You must collect the stardust at the right time with jars, but don't worry. If you just want to relax, someone else can take the job.” Queen Toac responded. “Oh no I'd love to! But… the stuff you just described isn't exactly what I learned from Quintus.” Said Ginger. “You have a lot to learn then, but nevermind that; I must show you to your room.” The King said enthusiastically. “What about my friends?” Ginger asked. “I'll talk to them and see what they say.” Ginger's mom smiled.
