10 year old Captain Ginger was raised in a clock shop. He isn't exactly sure who his parents are, but is determined to find them with his mysterious family heirloom that he calls a coat and the help of his friends.
“There's only one way to find out where Quintus went, and I assume you know what I'm about to do!” Ginger shouted, stepping onto the plank. He turned and waved, and took a step forward. Ginger disappeared.
“Wait! Ginger,” Tommy gasped.
“Maybe we should do the same?” Kile suggested.
“Uh… ok. I guess it's likely they would have ended up in the same place, right?” Tommy agreed. Kile stepped onto the left edge of the plank and waved his hand around in space, Until he felt something. Kile pushed a little. There was a small creak!
“Aha! An invisible door!” Kile shouted. “I'm touching a handle!” He grabbed the invisible handle and yanked the invisible door open. “Come on Tommy! Let's go!”
“Ok!” Said Tommy. Kile grabbed Tommy's hand.
“Come on!” He lead Tommy to the door. “One, two three!” Kile shouted. They jumped into the doorway and disappeared.
“Kile! Tommy! Are you guys ok?” Tommy's watery eyes opened to slits. He saw movement and tan. His hands were covered in something grainy.
“Wha?” He moaned.
“Oh come on, Tommy! Open your eyes!” Ginger shouted. Tommy fully opened his eyes. He saw giant hills and clouds. He looked at the ground. Sand! I'm lying in sand! Tommy thought.
“So… this is a desert we're in?” Tommy asked. Then he noticed Kile, who was examining something that was protruding from the sand. “Hey Kile! Whatcha doing?” He shouted.
“Guys! Come over here!” Kile called back. Everybody ran to him, also noticing the long wooden thing, engraved with intricate golden stars. It even had a neon yellow star on top.
“We should pull this thing out! On the count of three! One, Two,” Everybody got ready, grasping the wood. “Three!” Kile shouted.
Something familiar popped out. It was big. It had three seats, one Captain's chair, and sails at the sides that resembled wings.
