Jade's POV
I screamed.
I kicked.
I shouted.
I tried to let myself free.
But it was no use.
Ella had caught me in the attic and brought me to a strange room.
She tied me up and the next thing I knew, I was trapped here forever, unless someone came to save me.
Ella suddenly emerged with my parents, I shrieked.
"Mom! Dad!"
My parents looked frightened and confused.
In short form, I told them what happened.
They were a bit upset, but they too were tied up, so we were kicking.
Ella's ghost was a woman with blond hair, evil green eyes and white cheeks.
She was a pure ghost.
"GET US OUT OF HERE!" Dad hollered.
"MY SISTER WILL SAVE US!" I screamed.
"MEAN EVIL GHOST!" Mum shouted and kicked.
Ella was pure evil! UGH! I hated her and started regretting what I had come here for!
Suddenly.....
Lucy POV
A few minutes and nothing. No more screeches. No nothing.
I decided that I would just run downstairs and cry for help.
It was easier that way.
I tried the dumbwaiter, but it didn't go down.
I started to sweat.
Was I stuck here like Jade was?
I took a deep breath.
"Take it easy, Lucia. You'll be alright." I told myself and tried hard to make the dumbwaiter work.
I wondered if there was a hidden button to warm it up like the button behind the grate in the laundry.
I searched the walls.
Suddenly, I saw a button, which color was either faded out or covered in dust.
I pressed it.
All of a sudden, the wall parted.
I backed away, but then the groaning noise stopped.
I saw that it opened into a narrow hall.
A secret passageway?
Can't be.
But I took a deep breath and entered it.
Let's hope it's not a trick from Ella.
But hope it leads to Jade, mum and dad.
I sweated.
I crawled through the passage, sweating like crazy.
I began to think whether I was scared out of my brain, or it was just too hot up here.
I crawled some more.
I followed the lead, and suddenly there was bright light coming from the other side.
I gasped and crawl-ran toward it.
I began to lose balance, then slid right into the library.
Uhm, what?
I was back to square one.
Spoke too soon!
This was something I should have payed attention to.
I thought, this could be where Ella was standing when I heard the screech from the library!
She could have come here and screeched.
She could've gone through the secret passage in mum and dad's bedroom and snatched them.
But did this mean all the rooms had a secret passage?
I couldn't believe it!
But I had to focus on saving Jade and mum and dad now, even if I was scared.
At least I knew where to go if Ella chased me!
