I couldn't believe it!
So....Ella wasn't selfish or unkind after all??
She haunted this house because she had gone mentally crazy and wanted to talk to this Mr.Macc-o! (whoever this was)
I wondered who Mr.Macc-o was.
Probably an old friend of Ella....
And then I remembered...Jade was still stuck in the attic!
I needed to save her first!
WHO KNOWS WHAT ELLA COULD HAVE DONE TO HER!!!
So I began to sneak to the laundry quietly, (as mum and dad were still asleep!) but then, I heard a loud screech in the bathroom.
I didn't even bother to go there, from what I knew, I knew it was Ella, trying to trick me.
I hurried to the laundry and heard another screech from mum and dad's bedroom.
I ran to see if they were okay.
well...not!
They were gone, not at all in their beds!
I saw just in time Mum was pulled in to a wall!
I blinked my eyes.
Someone really needed to write a book about haunted houses!
"Mum! Dad!" I cried, as loud as I could.
Suddenly, I felt scared and possesed.
Tears came to my eyes and flooded down my cheeks.
What was going on?
I didn't like this.
I wished I was Jade instead.
But I knew she was witnessing something even more!
Then I stood up.
Ella's silly poltergeist wasn't going to defeat me!
I will defeat HER!
I don't know what fishy thing she is trying to do, but she is definitely crazy!
A crazy ghost!

I ran to the laundry (with my notebook) and climbed on the dumbwaiter.
I took a deep breath, fearing this might be the end, and pressed a button that said, "Attic."
Was Ella brave enough to live in this house as a ghost, alone?
Haunting people, hearing all those mean remarks, how could she live?
I wouldn't, that's for sure.
The dumbwaiter slowly began to climb.
It creaked and groaned, and stopped at a floor and shook.
I looked up and saw a hatch.
"This must be how Jade got up," I thought and climbed slightly.
I came up to a dirty, dusty room.
Must be the attic.
Frightened at what might happen next, I quickly hid behind a box.
Suddenly, I heard a screech coming from somewhere.
"GET US OUT OF HERE!" "MY SISTER WILL SAVE US!" "MEAN, EVIL GHOST!"
I blinked.
It sounded like Jade, mum and dad!
If that was so, mum and dad must know about Jade up the dumbwaiter.
I hope they didn't scold.
But there were other things to worry about.
I had to figure out where the screams were coming from.
It would lead me to where Jade, mum and dad were trapped.
Evil Ella!
I wonder what she had done to them!
