Chapter 29 of 31 - The End of the Adventure

You don't need to have a plan in your head all day, or you'll be stressed about it. A lot. So don't make a plan and watch. You'll come up with a brilliant idea at last and soon you'll be okay. That's what my book said, anyway. And then the idea popped into my head. It wasn't hard at all. I began screaming nonsense. "ELLA IS A GHOST! UM, %u2026 LISA IS A DARKER (WHO'S LISA?)! ALLIE IS THE LEADER OF THE DARKERS YA'LL KNOW IT I LOVE APPLE PIE WITH CHOCOLATE TOPPINGS! MY NAME IS LUCY-I MEAN MY NAME IS JADE JONES AND MY TWIN SISTER IS LUCY JONES!!" I shouted as loud as I could. VERY loud. VERY VERY loud. Ella began screeching, but now the ghosts began to fled. Lucy POV "Jade! I know why the ghosts are running away from her!" Lucy panted. "Why?" "Because she put a spell on them, like a curse. And then they had to be evil and loyal to her. But obviously the spell broke and now they're fleeing," I explained. "Exactly," Jade said. "You're a genius, Lucy," I beamed. "But now's the time to get Ella out," "Scream as loud as you can!" Jade cried. "WHY?" The screeches grew louder. Doors and windows began to open randomly and close as well. Neighbors flew over. "Because we need to get Ella out of the house! Remember when we were locked up she said screaming makes her go deaf?!" "Right!" I shouted and began too. "ELLA IS MY SISTER-(NOT)-" "MUM IS MY MUM!" "MRS.JONES! OH JONES!" "CAN WE GO HOME TO THE PRO TYPERS AND THE GREAT HALL AND THE GARRET ARE CLOSE-" "CAN WE GO??" "HELLO MY NAME IS LUCY MILLER JONES AND I LO-" We kept shouting insane things. Mum, dad and the neighbors were gaping at us, open mouthed. The neighbors, at the ghost, of course. And the priest,... Suddenly, the police arrived. Ella was wailing. "I can't hear! I-" The paranormal police grabbed Ella but missed. Ella screeched loudly one more time, and simply vanished. SILENCE. DEAD SILENCE. "Is she gone?" asked the Inspector General. "She is," I breathed. Everything was alright, or was it? The other ghosts and the darkers had run away, never to be seen again. "Ella is no longer a ghost," said the priest, matter of factly. His saintly voice made me feel peaceful. "So she's-you know-gone?" "Yes," All of a sudden my scars began hurting. It was then that everyone realized that we needed to call the PPS and the ambulance. Mrs.Knight came over and told us to leave the house immediately. We did. I was so glad. Everything was finally over and all okay. ~ A day later, we were standing in front of Elvis Manor, giving it a scornful goodbye. We were moving away, yes. The event had been all over the newspaper, actually. Never mind that now. I'll ask Jade to get me a copy to stick in this notebook. The moving truck lurched over the stone path, everything back in place, life alright again.
