Chapter 26: The night talk
Lucy POV
Jade called for a night meeting, just the two of us, at 1:00 am.
I suggested we have it in the library.
She agreed.
Mum and Dad aren't suspecting anything, thank God. We don't want them to.
So, after dinner, I made most of my time to rest before the meeting.
Also, I've been thinking of forming a council perhaps, called "Council of Defence Against the Dark Ghosts" or the CDADG.
Too long. What about- CDAG? Still too long. Maybe just CDA. It sounds better, even if it is not the full name.
Anyway, I'm ready for our meeting.
That night...
I woke up at 12:55 pm.
Five minutes away to 1:00 am, I better get dressed!
So I wore my favorite dressing gown and hurriedly tiptoed to the library.
Jade was waiting there. "Come on," she said.
We sat down on the floor and talked for about 20 minutes.
"What type of revenge should we get on Ella?" asked Jade.
"That's what I was thinking of," I answered, thoughtfully. "I mean, we need to get one that makes her leave the house (I rather hope not) or something that makes her stop haunting this place,"
"Isn't that the same thing?"
"It is, but if the CDA has only 2 members, she'll rise, so we need to get her OUT, OUT and OUT. Being members of Defence Against Dark Ghosts, we need to stop Ella so that the future families who will live in this house will not face any ghost problem,"
"But HOW do we defeat Ella? That's the problem," I added. "We need to get rid of a ghost,"
"Then we'll need to do ghost busting," said Jade, concluding the meeting.
Later when I was in bed, it was already 2:00 am. I lay thinking of what to do.
If we had to scare Ella off, how would we do that? Ella's a ghost herself, she scares you an steals your soul.
If we DID have to get rid of Ella, then how would we do that? We could do something, like call the Ghost Agencies. No, that wouldn't work. Ella, as a ghost, can be taken to the Paranormal Police Station, but I don't think we'd give her a revenge-ful farewell.
Oh!
It was such a matter to think of!
I fell asleep soon after that, mind full of Ella's creepy screeches.
