Back to the narrator:
"But you can't!" cried someone's voice from another room.
"Silence!" Ella shouted. "I am taking them no matter what!"
"You can't!"
"I can!"
Jade and Lucy had heard their parents' voices in a while, and were delighted to know they were alive.
"What are they talking about?" Jade wondered out aloud.
"Let's listen," said Lucy.
Last night, Ella had untied them, saying she would take them somewhere bright and beautiful.
"Stay here," she had said. "I will take you somewhere wonderful, and don't even try to escape, my team is guarding every corner of this house, just because they have dumb names doesn't mean they are foolish,"
The twins, of course, hadn't believed her.
But now they did, as they pressed their ears against the door.
By the sound of things, their parents were still tied up.
"You. Cannot. Take. My. Daughters. To. The. Forgotten. Land!"
"I can!"
"No you can't!" Mr.Jones cried.
"YES I CAN! END OF DISCUSSION!" Ella hissed and stalked out.
"Mum! Dad!"
"Jade, Lucy! OPen the door!"
At once, the twins opened the door and went to embrace their parents.
After untying them, Jade asked, "What WERE you and Ella arguing about?"
Mrs.Jones began, "Well, she's been wanting to take you to the forgotten land, a place full of darkness, guarded by evil fairies."
"Aha! That's why she was singing the remix!"
"Exactly,"
"Now we have to defeat that evil Ella!" said Lucy, determinedly.
THey planned an escape.
Suddenly, the doors swung open and the floorboards creaked.
It was Ella.
