As I was standing on the shore,
Gazing at the massive ocean, so pure
I saw it splashing here and there
So bold it was, I can't help but stare
As I observed it more and more
It dawned upon me that it was a teacher, honest till core
With each and every wave
A beautiful lesson it gave
How funny that this magnificent land of water
Full of fishes, turtles and otter
Is made up of tiny drops combined
How wonderful it would be if this unity could be find
Among the humans who love to hate
And instead of changing themselves, keep cursing their fate
The ocean moved so freely
Passing every obstacle ideally
Following its own desires
So determined and stopping all the fires
Unlike the humans who give up quickly
Afterwards despair and become prickly
It was wonderful to see it moving so gently
But I was aware of the fact that it can also crash badly
A trait that every human should have
They should be gentle and yet fierce like a wave
I was awe struck by its confidence
And I guess that's what makes it beautiful, hence
Everyone is beautiful and fine
They should believe, rise and then they will definitely shine
The ocean is so generous and kind
All sorts of beings, small and big, inside it everyone can find
We should learn the lesson of equality from it
Open our hearts and make everyone feel fit
Ocean is indeed a wise teacher
