Putting my face to the sky
The wind is cold
Goosebumps gather on my arms
But I stay where I am
The moon is here to protect me

Laying in the dark yard
I stare at the sky
There are stars
Lighting the sky up
But there are multiple stars
And only one moon
The moon stayed with me
Throughout my nightmares
The stars stay there for a little time
But the moon stays with me forever
It might look like a silver blob
But look closer
And see its glory
For the night is dark
Without a moon
