This story is about a two sisters named Edalyn and Lillith Coker. A murderer named Kyle Keishi has dedicated his whole life (since elementry school) to make Eda and Lily's mother (Bella Coker) to love him, and he'll do WHATEVER it takes. PS I have never written a thriller so please give me advice, thx :)!! Enjoy!
WARNING: NO DIALOGUE. ONLY THOUGHTS. IF YOU LIKE DIALOGUE, SORRY.
I woke up in what seemed like a... barn?! I was tied to a thick, chipping, wooden pole. I looked over at Lilly, she was still knocked out and tied to an identical pole. Her long, black hair shone against the sun and her purple nightgown with green stitching on the edges had two tiny holes in it. Her bare-feet were dangling of the ground since she was tied so high on the pole. Then I looked at me. My turquoise nightgown with lavender stitching near the edges had only one hole. My feet barely touched the wooden floor, but they did. I heard birds somewhere in the barn, there were only three good windows, the rest were broken. My heart was pumping so loud that I could hear it. Or maybe it was just quiet. I wondered if I would ever be free again. If my life would end here, in this broken barn. I was thirsty and hungry, so, so thirsty and hungry. My hands were tied up in that "traditional way" that people always talk about. Finally watched hours of YouTube videos on how to survive kidnapping pay off!! I followed the instructions, but I tried to be quiet. Then, snap! The rope had made red dents on my hands. I tiptoed over to Lillith and untied her. Since she was STILL knocked out, I carried her in my hands, but delicately, as if she was made of porcelain. I sat on a hay bale and sighed. Would this be our life... forever? I couldn't imagine, and when I tried, I wished I hadn't.
"Wake up Lilly," I said, "Please."
Her eyes stayed closed, though she turned over. Perhaps she was sleeping? I doubted it, but that's what I told myself.
Then, her eyes opened.
