It was near the end of Holly's session. Her doctor only had a few more things left to say.
"How long has it been since you dated someone?"
The surprises of this therapist never ceased.
"U-uh, I've never really dated someone before, Dr. Williams.." She stuttered. "Why-." She was interrupted by Dr. William's smile that said she knew the truth. "Ok, so there was this one guy when I was nine, but I was a little bitch, I lied and told him I was fifteen, then he broke up with me when I was ten for my best friend. Later online when I had dropped that- keep in mind this was a video game, so I could easily change who I was. I had dropped that fifteen year old and went with a seventeen year old, then I learned that she was also a jerk. So, as you can see, I lied, it took me two years to get over that relationship. And he was cheating on me so both ways it was fake. We didn't really know the other."
"I think it's time you get back in the game. I have your old account right here." She handed Holly a laptop, the screen was open to a dating sight. "It's still the most popular dating sight, you'll have no trouble."
"Yeah, sure, tell that to all the people who didn't send me any requests." She stared at her old profile photo. "Zero requests. I'm probably the only."
