Before I explain this story, those people who have read my other stories as probably wondering why I'm writing over 3 books at the same time. Well, this one was a small chapter series which i wanted to make, since it seemed fun. So, this is a story of a girl who joins this luxury boarding school. She finds friends, enemies and some friendships grow into something that's maybe more. This is a story of The New Girl.
[Author's note: So this takes place a week later because I just love time skips. Also because this is the next important part of the book. It is INTERESTING. Trust the process]
Fitz POV
Cassie and I had just left the studio. After a week's work, we still only had the entrance and a few steps down.
"Same time tomorrow?" she asked, giving me her signature smirk.
"Yeah sure", I replied, playing it cool.
"Hey, I'll go get us some drinks, milkshake or soda?" I asked.
"I'll go for a chocolate milkshake", She said, pulling her phone out.
"Two chocolate milkshakes it is then", I headed off to the vending machine.
Cassie POV
I had just pulled out my phone and started scrolling through my feed when a girl walked up to me. Her name was Piper, and she obviously had a huge crush on Fitz. She was closely followed by her assistant Sabrina.
"Paws off my guy", Piper snapped at me.
"Why?" I asked before I could stop myself. I should've just agreed.
"Let's teach you a lesson shall we?" Piper stomped down hard on my feet, pinning them down, while her assistant pinned my hands to the wall behind me. I was stuck.
"Now, stay away", She snarled.
"I do what I want", Someone shut my mouth, please.
She punched my stomach. The air had been knocked out of my lungs. I fell to the floor, gasping for air. She kicked me hard, and hit my head. I saw stars. This was gonna hurt in the morning.
Piper raised her arm for another blow when a voice said," What on earth are you doing".
We collectively turned our heads to see Fitz standing there.
"Just teaching this idiot her place in this world", Piper once again raised her hand. She swung it down and I closed my eyes for impact, but it never came. Fitz had stopped her arm mid air.
"Leave!" He growled. It was so terrifying, that Piper and Sabrina actually scampered off.
"You ok", he asked. "Yeah, best day of my life", I muttered. He grabbed my hand and helped me up. "Please tell me you got the drinks". he handed me a milkshake and I graciously accepted. I slurped on it.
"You better go to the infirmary", he said, actually looking worried. I nodded.
