Before I explain this story, those people who have read my other stories as probably wondering why I'm writing over 3 books at the same time. Well, this one was a small chapter series which i wanted to make, since it seemed fun. So, this is a story of a girl who joins this luxury boarding school. She finds friends, enemies and some friendships grow into something that's maybe more. This is a story of The New Girl.
Connor POV
Cassie's dad parked the car in front of the empire state building. He led us out, and took us to the 600th floor. The place was huge, like HUGE huge.
"Welcome. You have been gathered here to be assigned you're first mission. Keep in mind, we have enemies, who are the main cause of these kidnappings, or deaths. But our job, is to try and find their allies. The night goddess has inhabited a mortal body, though we do not know who. She has begun an organization, the Call of Dusk", Zeus's voice boomed through the room.
He sounded like he had said this way too many times, like how our 3rd grade math teacher sounded when she talked about multiplication. Bored and drawling.
"You're first mission is a mortal affair. It does not concern the gods. A man was recently found missing. His name was Samuel Norman. The details to his disappearance and life are listed down in this file. I hope you succeed", With that, we were dismissed. We were sent to the 599th floor to begin the case.
"Soooo, lets read the files?" Cassie asked.
"Suppose so", I said.
We read the files, and it wasn't pretty.
