Before I explain this story, those people who have read my other stories as probably wondering why I'm writing over 3 books at the same time. Well, this one was a small chapter series which i wanted to make, since it seemed fun. So, this is a story of a girl who joins this luxury boarding school. She finds friends, enemies and some friendships grow into something that's maybe more. This is a story of The New Girl.
Cassie POV
After we all finished getting our makeovers, Zues re-appeared. He led us to another room. This one had four solid walls. He took us all inside, before walking out. I looked around. There was a wall, that was cover in weapons. The other three walls led to different rooms. They had intricately carved doors.
I walked over to the weapons walls, and touched a beautiful looking bow. Just then, Zeus walked in. He was followed by ten other demigods. My mouth fell open. I immediately recognized them.
"Hey, I'm Percy Jackson." The one in the front said. My mouth dropped open. OMG.
"Ignore my boyfriend. I'm Annabeth Chase", the girl next to him said.
"Jason Grace", Another said.
"I thought you were dead", Fitz said, how considerate of him, huh?
"I got a second chance, since I was Hera's chosen", Jason laughed it off.
The others introduced themselves as Piper Mclean, Leo Valdez, Frank Zhang, Hazel Lévesque, Nico Di Angelo, Will Solace and Thalia Grace.
"They will be supervising you, since each specializes in a specific power and weapon. Choose your weapons, and go to the training center. Or you may leave to practice you're powers. Or you may learn about the different monsters, gods and goddesses, and how to temporarily defeat them." Zues said all this, and left.
"Ok then, choose you're weapons and get on with it kids", Nico said.
" Nico! be nice", Will scolded.
I immediately ran to the weapons wall, and picked up a sword. It was a bit heavy, and I knew it wasn't right. The others joined me, picking different weapons.
"Try that one", Percy came up behind me, and handed me another sword. It was lighter and the grip was pretty good.
"You wanna practice?" He asked.
"yeah" The sword was beautiful. It was made of celestial bronze, and has an intricate carving on the hilt.
Percy led me to the training room. He showed me how to thrust, and jab and cut heads off.
"This one's a natural", He said after a while.
"Wanna try something else?" I nodded.
We walked back out. I drifted to the same bow I had seen earlier. It was even more beautiful than I had noticed. It was made with a black springy wood, and was carved to resemble a bird, kinda like the one from Hunger games. The quiver was filled with bows that were tipped with obsidian or celestial bronze or imperial gold.
"I'm no good with bows, Will, over here!" Percy called. My half brother walked over. We went back in the training centre.
