Before I explain this story, those people who have read my other stories as probably wondering why I'm writing over 3 books at the same time. Well, this one was a small chapter series which i wanted to make, since it seemed fun. So, this is a story of a girl who joins this luxury boarding school. She finds friends, enemies and some friendships grow into something that's maybe more. This is a story of The New Girl.
Tessa POV
So I was having an awesome day. First I turn out to be a demigod, I get to be a spy, and best of all, my ship was sailing. Ok, maybe I have my priorities wrong, but can you honestly tell me you have never thought, 'so the world is ending, but at least my ship is sailing'.
We climbed out of the car, in front of the empire state building. It was huge, obviously, and when we neared the security checkpoint, the guard immediately stood up and bowed down to the row of gods standing in front of us. he led us to the elevator, I mean, is that how it works. Leave you're station to babysit a bunch of 5000 year old gods.
We got into the lift, with absolutely no problems, and I heard we were going to floor number 599. The lift began to move upwards.
"So where are we going?" Cassie asked the Apollo.
"The headquarters, to get you registered", Zues answered for him.
"Dad, you know I can talk right?" Apollo said, scowling at being interrupted yet again.
"Yeah, but who said I want you to talk", Zues laughed and turned away.
Apollo mimed talking with his hand, then stuck his tongue out at Zeus's turned back.
"so we're-" Cassie started.
"What happens in the headquarters?" Fitz cut in.
Zeus began explaining to him about the registration process while Cassie did exactly what Apollo had done, finishing with a jab at Fitz's back. Fitz turned yelping, "What was that for?"
"Don't mind the rain clouds", Apollo waved his hand between Zeus and Fitz. "they always come in and block the happy warm sunlight that we are. No respect for others whatsoever. Selfish, completely selfish."
"I am not", Fitz said.
"Yes you are", Cassie pouted.
"Not as annoying as you", Fitz stepped forward.
"Yeah you're way more annoying than me. I'm better than you at everything else", Cassie stepped forward too.
Neither of them seemed to realize that they were only a few inches from each other.
"Hey, says you", Fitz countered.
"Says everyone", Cassie retorted.
"Oh yeah? Well name one person who says that", Fitz said.
"I just said everyone says that. Do you need to get you're ears checked?"
"You need to get your eyes checked."
"You need to get you're brain checked."
"I do not", Fitz scowled.
"Silly me, you don't need to get you're brain checked", Cassie said. Fitz nodded.
"You don't have a brain to check", Cassie stepped a little bit closer.
"Take that back", Fitz also stepped closer.
"Now kiss", Julia, Mia and I said at the same time. We couldn't help it. They both looked at us, then each other, blushed and stumbled back.
"Kiss Kiss fall in love", I said. I couldn't help myself.
Cassie was about to say something when the doors opened. The gods stepped out, all chuckling, except for Hermes, who was full on laughing.
"Nice roast, but you're friend over there with the song is right", Athena whispered to Fitz and Cassie, who again blushed. Cassie hit me as she walked out, and I noticed how Fitzandra was staying away from each other. Julia and Mia were singing, "Kiss Kiss fall in love", while Stephanie and Maddison were elbowing Cassie, who had her face covered. The boys were teasing Fitz, who kept saying", Shut up".
This was interesting. Very interesting.
