Before I explain this story, those people who have read my other stories as probably wondering why I'm writing over 3 books at the same time. Well, this one was a small chapter series which i wanted to make, since it seemed fun. So, this is a story of a girl who joins this luxury boarding school. She finds friends, enemies and some friendships grow into something that's maybe more. This is a story of The New Girl.
Stephanie POV
I look down at the scrolls, which were in pairs. There were 6 different colors. Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Black and White. They had names attached to them. Stephanie, Maddison, Cassidy and so on. I pick up the one with my name on it, which turned out to be a white scroll. I opened it. It had a map printed on, with designs of woods and caves. there was a small red dot, that slightly moved as I walked around the house.
"Hey, Steph, we match", Jack said, grinning. He too had a white scroll, which match mine to the last tree.
"Cool", I said, trying to hide the dread that was building in the pit of my stomach.
"I got green", Maddie said, holding her scroll up.
"Oh, me too", Connor's eyes sparkled. I smiled at them.
"I'm red", Cassie smiled.
"Same", it was Fitz. Poor Cassie turned redder than her scroll and I tried to to smirk too much at them. Fitz seemed just as embarrassed as my flustered bestie. I ship you two, I thought.
Cassie stared at me and I realized I had said that out loud. Then she threw her hands up in the air and let out a cry of pure misery. And she wonders why we call her dramatic.
Fitz just turned even redder then spluttered something like, "Uh-we-what-no-I", then he too threw his hands up in the air and ran they through his hair, messing it up.
Cassie stared at him with a sort of mesmerized expression. I caught her eye and she blushed again, before turning away. Mia and Harry were paired up too, so were Tessa and Ben. Huh, this map giver sure knew us well.
