Marybeth Mallory, or "Myth" is a fox. Simply a girl with fox ears, and a tail, and fox-like senses. Lesbian, fox hybrid, so many ways she is different. She lives in the forest with all the other foxes. But when Sherrie Granville, or "Ixxi" comes along as a normal human, they embark on an adventure full of fantasy, magic, friendship, and romance.
Yin and Yang were skipping through the forest. They are the twin foxes. Did you know that if one twin fox dies, the other will too, so they can be together in heaven? Well, they weren't in luck. Yin and Yang were having fun, when he came. A man in a mask. He threw a knife at Yin. Yin yelped loudly. So did Yang. The twin foxes passed out, and died.
At the camp
A yelp. A laugh. A scream. A howl. Everyone woke up. They followed Myth as they ran through the forest at top speed. They found Yin and Yang dead. “No... no NOOOOO! MY CHILDREN!” Secret screamed as she and Oakey ran over. They were the parents of every fox there. (Not Myth though). “Who... who did this?” Ixxi whispered. “I don't know...” said Myth. And they brought the bodies home. They buried them and the memories filled their heads. But, it was time to leave. This was not the first murder. The pack used to be bigger. It's time to leave. Find a safe place. Forever. Leave.
