Alex finds out that Squad 3 has her youngest sister Lizzie and they have the Elder Dragon's egg. So she sets off on a journey to complete her goal; rescue her sister and destroy the egg. Will she be able to do it on time? Or will she die trying?
The anonymous letter shone in the moonlight, that stuck out of Alex's bag. It was around midnight, and someone had asked her to go to the nearest pasture from the north of the palace. The sky was clear, and the stars shimmered like silver droplets of paint on an all black canvas.
Alex took out the knife she had used to kill Jason from her bag and started hacking through the tangle of vines and tree branches in front of her. She did this for about an hour; until the vines stopped trying to grasp onto her. It was eerily still, and then a beam of moonlight illuminated a snow white pegasus that was grazing on the lush, forest green grass.
Wildflowers of every color bloomed out of the mossy Earth, and the pegasus lifted her head. "Hello, human child. Are you ready to fly?" Alex heard a voice inside her head, and she knew that it must be the pegasi's voice. It was sweet and silky like you could fall asleep in peace just listening to her.
"How can I hear you? What do you mean, ready to fly? Wait a second-" Alex demanded, a sudden wave of realization hitting her. "Are you the one who sent me the anonymous letter?"
The pegasus sighed in her head. "Yes, that was me. I am Snowfall. I want to help you." Alex narrowed her eyes. Help from a pegasus? Very likely. Snowfall stamped her hoof impatiently, and Alex smacked her head in annoyance. The Alex finally made up her mind. Alex grabbed her bag from the pasture and climbed onto Snowfall as she spread her wings and soared into the chilly night air.
