Before I approached them, I raised the gun up in the air. It wouldn't be fair if I didn't give them a warning first, so I pulled the trigger and... nothing.
"What the hell?" I muttered under my breath. Just when I was about to scare the shit out of them, the bullets were supposed to have disappeared. Groaning, I turned to my right and trudged in the snow to the garage, a specific factory-like place where workers built mascot costumes. The garage was humongous but took up only a fraction of the massive amusement park. The owner of the amusement park was a strong believer in God and supposedly built the park to appease the holy one. Scientists didn't believe him, and papers suggested he did it for a huge mafia gang that sold drugs to all the major political leaders. The article was so far-fetched and accusing that the author was stoned to death when he was sleeping. The sight was bloody and terrifying, and police never found the killer, or they were bribed into hiding the truth. I fumbled in my pocket for the silver key, which was icy cold, even though it was in my insulated jacket. I opened the door and walked inside. My hand reached for the light, only to discover the switch was broken.
"Great, just great"
I took out a yellow torch and shined it in the room. As the light fell upon everything in the room, I saw something blinding white. I squinted my eyes and shined it on the thing again just to check if what I saw was not just a figment of my imagination.
"Aarrgghh!" I screamed as loud as I could. The abandoned, leather mascot was standing upright on its own with a twisted glare, creepy smile, and a red fluid covering its inhumanly bright white teeth. I scrambled out of the garage and locked the door. Sweat dripped into the white carpet laid down on Earth's surface.
"BAM! BAM! BAM!" I startled away from the cursed door. It was that mascot. I knew it could smell my fear. I knew that if I didn't save myself my blood would cover its mouth too. I looked back at the carousel and saw that there were now five people standing next to it, looking... Looking at me.
"BAM! BAM! BAM!"
I looked back at the garage. The whole thing was shaking. I stumbled back into the confines of my office. Even if that monster got out of that garage, which was impossible, it possibly couldn't-
"SMASH!"
The green garage was now ripped to pieces and the leather mascot was standing in its place. Slowly, but surely, it turned its head to me. The slow rotation looked like it was hurt, but it didn't rule out hungry. When its eyes were set on me, it gently and crudely at the same time, limped towards me, its starving smile growing and growing until all of its razor-sharp teeth were glinting in the starlight. Suddenly, a hand touched my head and I whirled back to see-
