Jade is a young girl with a secret. What is that secret? Well lets fine out. She sneaks out one night to see the real world and she fines out what her she really becomes when she blacks out.
When night came I was ready for plan escape the house. Okay that was a dumb name was going to have to think of a better one. I climbed out of the window. Went I got down from the window I tripped. I rolled a little but I stopped myself. Wow that was close. I got up and brushed of my clothes. Well lets go. I climbed my way down. I ran to the forest. I knew there was a city not far. I kept running. I couldn't stop this was my chance to see the outside world.
I soon got there. I looked around. There was a lot of buildings. I remember these buildings but I haven't seen it in so long. I saw a few people that looked around my age walking on the sidewalk. I had to hold back to urge to say hi to them. I could here them talking about something.
"Oh Mika your so funny" A blonde girl said
"Yeah so funny" another girl said.
"Thanks" a boy said
"So where are we going now?" The 2nd girl said.
"Probably home" The boy said.
"Aw c'mon" The blonde one said.
"I know but we have school tomorrow"
"Ha! like we're going" The 2nd girl said.
"We all know we're skipping"
"Yeah but my Dad believes I'm going and hes gonna kill me if I'm home any later"
"Fine but promise me tomorrow we are going out in the evening" The blonde one said.
"I promise"
The blonde girl got close to him and out her mouth on his? Was She Eating Him!? She back away.
"See ya" 2nd one said.
"Bye Clair" The blonde one said.
"Well are you walking me home?" She asked.
"Yep" He said.
They both started walking. I followed them from a distance. They started talking on the way but I didn't really hear what they were saying. They soon arrived at a house.
"Bye sugar~" She said.
"See ya"
The blonde lady walked into the house. The boy started walking away. Of course I followed him. After a while he stopped and sat on a bench.
"Ugh Dad won't stop trying to call me!" He picked up a uh what was it called? Oh yeah a phone! He picked up the phone and looked at it.
I watched him. I wanted to get closer and see him better I didn't really get a good look at him. I never really seen a real boy before only ones in books and some on TV when Marcy lets me watch it. I tip toed up closer. I made my way to behind the bench. He turned to see if anyone was there. He didn't see me and continued doing what ever he was.
I looked over the bench. He had light brown hair and freckles. I felt something weird in my stomach. It was like something was moving inside me. Did I eat something? I felt like a bird or bugs were flapping around in it. It was a strange feeling. I looked back up at him. I stayed very quiet.
I want to touch him. I wanted to touch his hair. Did it feel like mine? Was he real? Is he like me? I lifted my hand and touched his hair. He turned and looked at me. He jumped up.
"Hey! Stay of me you crazy chick!"
"Chick? I'm not a baby chicken?"
"No what? No stay away!"
"O-oh okay.."
"How did you even get there without me knowing? And why were you touching my hair?!"
"I just wanted to feel it"
"W-what?! Why?!"
He started walking backwards. I stood up and started walking towards him.
"I wanted to know what it felt like"
"Okay Lady how about you go feel someone elses hair?"
"Oh uh okay?"
He walked back into a road. I kept coming closer. There was two lights coming towards him. We both turned and looked at them. I ran at him and jumped towards him. I knocked him backwards. I pushed him away from the car. We both landed on the other side of the road.
"Wow! T-T-That was c-close!" I said. He stared at me.
"Y-your saved me?"
The driver stopped the car and got out and ran to us. It was a old man.
"Are you kids okay!!" He yelled.
"Y-yes sir sh-she pushed us out of the way before we got h-hit"
"Oh good" He said.
The boy picked up his phone. The screen was shattered.
"Uh i-is it okay if I borrow your phone?"
"Yes Mine is in my car stay right here!" The man said.
The man ran back. I started to get up off of the boy. We stood up. I looked at him and smiled. He had a worried expression on his face.
"Is something wrong" I asked.
"Y-your t-teeth..."
I felt my teeth with my tongue. They were sharp. Like really sharp. I closed my mouth and covered it with my hand. I started running away.
"Hey Where are you going!!" He screamed.
I ignored him and keep running. He tried chancing after me but he stopped. I ran as far as I could. I started to feel dizzy. I was going to blackout again. I ran and ran but I felt myself pass out. Everything went black.....
