Once in a while I glance outside
And I see a little silver orb glide
Across the ponds, and lakes and the seas
You shining little blob of cheese!
How long will you twinkle up there
In the sun's bright red hot glare
Will you come down here to me
Where there are much more things to see!
Oh, you little light up there
Brightening up the world's night lair
Stay with us throughout the night
And at morning's call, don't put out your light!
