It's been a few years since they left London. They had gotten settled in with school and homes. Ace is now 17, and Ashley is now 14. Right now they are in school and Ace is talking with his buddies.
"Bro you should've seen the way Vanessa dressed today!" His friend Alex laughed.
"I know right, she dressed as some barbie doll! Oh, and how are you with Mia?" His other friend Lucas asked.
"We're doing alright." Ace said.
"Oh, that's good!" Alex said.
"And your sister?" Lucas asked.
"eh.." Ace replied.
The school bell rang.
"Crap I got to go man." Ace said while opening his locker and grabbing everything he needed.
"It sees ya dude," Lucas said doing the same thing.
"Man y'all some geeks I'm skipping," Alex said while walking away.
As Ace was walking to his next class, he saw Mia in the hallway against some dude on the wall. The guy was pinning her to the wall, and it looked as if he were to kiss Mia.
"So this is your little fake boyfriend, huh, this the guy your stealing from eh? You a gold-digger, little lady?" The guy asked.
"Ace h-help, m-me!" Mia yelled.
He was mad at Mia and at the other guy. He imagined that it was Ashley right there, so he fought the guy.
Eventually, he stopped until his bones were broken. The Principle came along with the school's security guards. They broke up the fight and brought Ace to the Principle's office.
"Ace...I thought you were a good student... But no you weren't, you beat the hell out of this young man. Why?" His principal sighed.
"Sir...I saw him raping another student. I cannot allow that to happen, that would be like my sister right there, and of course, I will fight...You may expel me but I'm giving you examples of the wrong and the right. All the teachers would do is expelled this student but it won't stop him, I don't want other students to suffer under this student." Ace said.
"Fair enough. Well, I don't tolerate violence so I will call your father, is that clear?" The Principle asked.
"Yeah yeah, go ahead." Ace said.
The Principle called his father to come to the school. A few moments later he arrived there.
"Son, what's the meaning of this?" Jacob his father asked.
"Dad...It was for a good reason.." Ace replied.
"I expected better." Jacob sighed.
"Yes, I know.." Ace said.
"Let's go. Thank you, Ms. Taylor!" Jacob told the principal.
They drove home in silence. Later they arrived home and Ace went straight to his room and called Mia and asked what happened back there.
"Mia...I have a question for you. What was that dude talking about?" He asked.
"Ace...I'm also dating his best friend. You have to understand..." Mia was explaining.
"Yeah, I perfectly understand...We need to break up." Ace said while hanging up.
He looked around his room seeing pictures of the two of them. He felt a tear rolling down his face.
"I'm sorry.." He thought in his mind.
"Hey, Ace. I heard about you and Mia is everything alright?" Ashley asked while knocking on the door.
"Y-yeah everything...Everything is good. I promise." He replied.
"I made you some cookies if that'll help.." She said.
"No, it's fine." He said.
"ok, it'll be on the counter if you want some." She said.
As she went away, Ace lied there while his heart was in agony.
Days passed and he was still in pain.
"Hey, buddy...Your friends are here..." His father said.
"Let them in." Ace said.
"Ok.." Jacob said while opening the door.
As the boys walked in they asked where he was.
"Down in his room," Ashley said.
They walked inside and greeted the family. They ran to his room and started to talk to Ace.
"Bro, you best get up off your ass or... You gon' be depressed and sober forever." Alex told him.
"Nah man, Nah.
