It's Easter time so we prepared some interesting Guinness World Records connected with these holidays.
Some of them may really surprise you!

#1 Largest chocolate Easter egg - 16 April 2011

The tallest chocolate was made by Italian brand named Tosca and showed in Le Acciaierie Shopping Centre, in Cortenuova (Italy).

It measured 10.39m in height, had a circumference of 19.6m at its widest point and weighed 7.2kg.

#2 Largest Easter egg hunt - 1 April 2007

The largest Easter egg hunt took place in the Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, Florida, USA.

Nearly 10 thousand children with their parents took part in searching hidden 501,000 eggs.

#3 Largest chocolate rabbit - 25 February 2017

The largest chocolate rabbit was made by Equipe da Casa do Chocolate at Shopping Uberaba, in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

9 people from The Casa do Chocolate worked for 8 consecutive days on this sculpture.

The chocolate rabbit weighed 4,245.5kg. It had 4.52m height, 2.11m width and 1.76m length.

Previous the biggest chocolate rabbit was constructed in Brazil, too. It was a bit smaller - weighted 3,850 kg and measured 4.1m tall, 1.9m wide at its base and 1.8m in depth.

#4 Oldest hot cross bun - 2 April 2010

The oldest known hot cross bun has the date March 1821 on its base, so now it is nearly 200 years old.

#5 Biggest rabbit

A giant rabbit Herman lives with his owner Hans Wagner in Germany.

Herman weighs 7.7kg, has 21cm ears and is almost 1m tall. He eats over 2kg of food a day.

#6 Most people dyeing eggs - 19 April 2014

The most people dying eggs was 582. This happened during event organised by KCMS/SPIRIT 105.3FM and Redmond Town Center in Redmond, Washington, USA.

#7 Largest decorated Easter egg - 8 March 2008

The largest decorated Easter egg was built by Freeport in Alcochete.

It had 14.79m height and 8.40m in diameter.

#8 Largest Easter egg tree - 16 March 2017

The largest Easter egg tree was shown in Pomerode, Santa Catarina, Brazil, during osterfest by Associação Visite Pomerode.

Tree constisted of 82,404 hen egg shells painted with orange, yellow and green colours.

#9 Largest hot cross bun - 5 April 2012

The largest hot cross bun was made by RSPB in conjunction with Greenhalghs Bakery (both UK), in Bolton, UK.

It weighed 168kg and measured 2.38m.
