In this town lies something dark and mysterious. Something no one questions and something people are afraid of. There something off about this town but the answer lays somewhere far and entirely unrelated to the town.
Sat along in a circle were 4 friends just laughing and being kids. They admired how everything was peaceful and quiet. They would hang out on the beach every chance they would get. They basically grew up together. "Hey, I have an idea!" One of them shouted excitedly. "We can play hide and go seek." She suggested. The one in the dark blue beanie stood up and agreed with her. "Wait, but who's counting?" One of the twins said. "I'll do it since I suggested it." She said while waving her arm. The girl then pointed at them and said "I'll count to 10, okay." She turns around and covers her eyes, and began to count. She giggles as she hears her friend's footsteps retreat to their hiding spots. "One." As she began to count the wind picks up, causing her dress to sway around her. "Two." She goes on dragging out the 'o'. "Three." The area around her starts to feel cold, and the wind picks up blowing faster than before. The girl smirk hopping from one foot to the other in anticipation. "Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten... READY OR NOT HERE I COME!!"
