When you're a twin, people seem to thing you and your twin are very similar. Not in Goldy and Silver's case! These two twins couldn't be more different. However, as they transition into high school, the siblings must find a way to balance each other out. If not, it could send the whole school crashing down...
No one expected things to get better so quickly. It seemed like while the twins were present, the whole school felt obliged to choose sides and dress like them. Kinda like when your teacher leaves the room and the class is like "Finally! We can do whatever we want!" only a bit more complicated. For about a week, as Star had put it, everyone had been "grieving" over the twins' disappearance. However, a guy on Silver's team actually comforted a girl from Goldy's team, and the two began going out! That helped other people begin to realize that they didn't have to completely avoid the other team, and broken friendships started healing. That was only the first stage of Sakura Springs Recovery; next, people began dressing how they liked, so everyone had a unique style once again. Students also began re-exploring their old interests, instead of following their favorite twin's hobbies. It was only about 3 weeks until everything was back to normal at the school, just in time for prom! That was the twins' next issue... how should they come back to the school?
"You guys can't just waltz in during a normal school-day, especially not now" Star said. Layla, Ivory and Allister nodded their heads in agreement. Goldy and Silver were just meeting up with their friends at the hotel they were staying at, trying to figure out how to return to their peers. So far, they didn't know what to do. "What we need is to announce you guys when everyone has agreed that everything is better this way, and at a moment where no one could change to be your "fans" again," Allister pointed out. Everyone agreed silently. "Maybe during the last week of school?" Goldy suggested. Ivory shook her head. "Maybe everyone would agree that things were better, but that seems a bit too far. Plus, we can't keep bringing you your homework until the end of the school year, that's not practical." "Yeah, the maximum amount of time we can wait is all the way up until prom," Layla added. "Oh, that's right! We totally forgot about prom!!! When is it?" "About..." Allister looked at his phone. "Two weeks from now." He looked up, smiling. "Everything should be back to normal by then! Maybe you guys can arrive during prom?" he suggested. Everyone stared at him with wide eyes. "Allister..." Goldy stuttered.
"That's freakin' genius..."
