When you're a twin, people seem to thing you and your twin are very similar. Not in Goldy and Silver's case! These two twins couldn't be more different. However, as they transition into high school, the siblings must find a way to balance each other out. If not, it could send the whole school crashing down...
As soon as the twins entered the school building, they were awestruck. Sakura Springs Academy was so much larger and casual than Aiden Oak's, with light wooden floors, brightly-lit ceilings, and white walls. It was quite a change from their old school, and although Aiden Oak's was much more formal with gleaming tile floors, chandeliers, and painted brick walls, it was awfully cramped and way too fancy (especially for Goldy). When the twins walked inside, they noticed several groups of people nearby. One was a handful of snobby-looking cheerleaders swooning over some bad boys by the staircase. Another group of creepy, emo-like kids were studying occult gatherings near the cafeteria entrance. Goldy and Silver had no idea who to talk to... until a group of three girls approached them. "Hello! Are you two transfers from Aiden Oak's?" one asked kindly. She had dark brown hair that faded into turquoise, complimenting her twitchy wolf ears atop her head. This girl certainly didn't seem spoiled, judging by her basic purple shirt, black shawl and leggings, and gray flip-flops. "Yes, we are! My name is Silver, and this is my twin, Goldy!" Silver smiled. His eyes fell on a cute girl peeking out from behind the third female. She had a pair of fuzzy fox ears nestled in her white-to-gray hair, pairing with her peach skin and gray dress. "It's nice to meet you, Silver and Goldy! My name is Ivory!" she said, shaking hands with the twins. The third girl finally spoke up, saying that her name was Layla. She seemed like a normal human at first glance, her purple hair complimenting her dark skin, black crop-top, and black sweatpants. Layla was the one who caught Goldy's eye. She was cute, pretty, and very cool, and Goldy felt an odd connection to her. Truth to be told, Goldy was a lesbian, and only her family knew. Silver, however, took a special interest in Ivory. Something about the way her fox ears twitched when he complimented her, and her carefree yet shy personality, it seemed to draw Silver in. Finally, the school bell rang. "What class do you guys have?" Ivory asked. "Class 291," the twins answered at the same time. "Awesome, you're in our class!" Star exclaimed. With that, the fie headed off to their class.
After class was over, Silver and Goldy decided to find Star, Ivory and Layla for lunch. They were just talking to each other, like twins do, when suddenly, Goldy tripped over a boy walking in the hallways. "Oh god, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, glancing at the boy. His spiky black hair had one red streak in it, complimenting his bad-boy style clothes, tan skin, and alert wolf ears. "Hey, no hard feelings," the boy replied, helping Goldy off the ground. "We're looking for a girl named Star. Brown hair, purple shirt... do you know her?" Silver asked. "Yep! She's a good friend of mine! I was actually heading up to see her now!" the boy said politely. Even though his appearance gave off the typical bad-boy look, he actually seemed to be very nice and sympathetic. While walking to see their friends, the twins learned that his name was Allister, and he was actually Star's roommate. They walked up four plights of stairs, up to the roof, where Star, Layla, and Ivory were preparing lunch. "UGGGHHHH, HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO CLIMB UP THESE STAIRS EVERY DAY?!!!" Goldy moaned jokingly as they went out onto the roof. "Hey Allister! Hi, Goldy and Silver!" Star said, laughing at Goldy's dramatic entrance. While eating, Silver gazed at his new friends. He was glad to say that he and his twin had made the right choice in friends.
