The next day the king called for Carissa again, he had a mission for her. The mission was to infiltrate the crystal ice kingdom and find they're weakness, so they could attack and take over them, he promised her a reward. Carissa couldn't refuse the offer she didn't care much about the crystallites.
Carissa headed to the crystal kingdom, it was more beautiful than she had imagined, she was about to use Alyssa's contract against her when she bumped into Alyssa's elder brother.
" Out of my way prince", said Carissa in an awfully rude manner.
" How charming of you to say, I'm Damian nice to meet you", said Damian.
Carissa was surprised about how nice he behaved towards her when she was so rude to him and asked him why he was nice, like even though he's nice doesn't he want to get payback and all he said was.
" Because being nice will always surpass being mean, just like being good will always surpass being evil, think about that princess Carissa", said the prince before leaving.
And that struck Carissa, how'd he know so much about her and even her secret of being the princess of the lavites. She didn't want to do the mission anymore so she lied to the king. The king was surprised to hear that she failed the mission but let her go.
Carissa was still as cold as ever but still always kept thinking about what prince Damian said or at least she thought that was what she was thinking about. Azuna came to Carissa's room one night to ask her what she was thinking about.
" What you thinking about, cause you've been awfully quiet lately", said Azuna.
" You know that mission your dad gave me, well I bumped into prince Damian and I've been thinking about what he said a lot", said Carissa.
" You're joking right, prince Damian the crystal ice kingdom top fighter", said Azuna.
" They're not so bad there they're really nice and they're pretty much like us, Azuna he's right", said Carissa.
" What's he right about? Look Carissa I know you're smart don't let a rival get to you", said Azuna, Carissa said yes before Azuna left.
" Cause he already has", said Carissa.
