Kialla and her grandma live in London in the year 4020. The Supremacies rule how everyone lives and everyday is the same. Kialla is forced to take a drastic turn in life when she is sent somewhere owned by The Supremacies. She is determined to make life fair for everyone that is under The Supremacies' rules so they don't have to go through what she did.

I'm sat on the couch drinking S-tea with grandma when she tells me she had a message from The Supremacy yesterday. “What did they say?” I ask, intrigued.
She takes a long sip of her tea. “They said I have four weeks until they'll cut off my oxygen supply.”
I am aghast. Tears fill my view but I wipe them away so they don't drip on the electric parts of the suit I'm wearing. Grandma looks over at me with watery eyes and says “I'm getting old Kia, The Supremacy have no need for me anymore, I'm just a waste of space and oxygen.”
“But you're the only person I have... Don't leave, grandma!”
6:00 PM
Grandma tucks me into bed and plugs in my energy cable then walks to her room silently. Thinking about the time when grandma saved me from the S-bug on my shoulder distracts me from the fact that soon she will no longer be with me. I will have no one to look after me. No one to love. None of that.
I look through the roof window and count the green specks floating in the sky. They are the asteroids. They seem bigger every week and every week they are twitching more. Grandma says that they are thousands of light years away and they won't hit Earth when I'm alive, but I was never sure about that. I wonder what the night sky looked like in 2090, the last year of normality. Did it have asteroids in its sky too? Maybe it was a bright azure blue, or maybe it was ink black.
