Eleanor, better known as Ella is hard to get. She is a devil with a trident birthmark on her cheek. She wasn't like this always like this. But after her boyfriend, Luke(who is an angel) broke her heart, she swore never to fall in love again. That's when her friend Grace tells her that not every person is the same and starts searching for Ella's match. Will Ella finally get over the fact that her boyfriend cheated on her? "Come on, don't cry," said Grace, coaxing Ella. "It's no use Grace(devil). Luke(angel and Ella's ex) moved to Alice(angel)," said Ella. Grace was devastated to see her friend like this. "You'll find someone else," said Grace. "The first time we met, we couldn't let go of each other, and now..." stopped Ella, mid-sentence, and continued crying. Grace was hugging her tight and gently running her fingers through Ella's hair. "I wanted to ask you a question from the day I met you and Luke," said Grace. "What question is it?" asked Ella, wiping her tears. "How did you and Luke meet?" said Grace.
"I and Luke were from different universes. I was from Hell. He was from Heaven. We were friends from the age of 4. After age 12, we started having feelings for each other. But my parents said that devils don't fall in love with angels.
(Luke comes to say something to Ella on the cliff that separates Heaven and Hell, the Barrier Cliff)
Ella: We're not in love.
(Luke gasps)
We share no stories.
Just something in your eyes.
(Luke takes a step back when shadows surround Ella and roar defensively)
Ella: Don't be afraid.
The shadows know me.
Luke: Let's leave the world behind.
Both: Take me through the night!
Fall into the dark side!
We don't need the light!
We'll live on the dark side!
Ella: I see it!
Luke: Let's feel it!
Both: While we're still young and fearless!
Take me through the night!

(Luke jumps into Hell, but his parents use their magic to pull him back to Heaven)
Luke's father: Luke! Are you mad?!
Luke's mother: Don't go there! It's full of black magic and dead souls!
(Ella cries and runs away from the Barrier Cliff)
Ella: Beneath the sky,
As black as diamonds,
Luke and Ella from different places: We're running out of time.
(Ella running to the Barrier Cliff): Don't wait for the truth to come and blind us.
(Luke escaping his parent's grip and also running to the Barrier Cliff): Let's just believe their lies!
(Both of them reach the Barrier Cliff at the same time)
Luke: Believe it.
Ella: I see it.
Both: I know that you can feel it!
No secrets,

(Luke jumps to Hell)
(Ella has tears in his eyes)
(Luke sees his parents stare at him)
Luke: Mom and dad, I can explain!
Luke's mother: Go live with Ella if that makes you happy.
Luke's father: We'll always be proud of you, son!

Grace's eyes shone with tears. "What a beautiful story!" she said. "Which fell apart," said Ella. "I'm sorry, Ella," said Grace." And that's why I've decided that I'm never going to fall in love again!" screamed Ella. The sky filled with grey clouds that spat thunder. "I'm never going to fall for anyone again. Now, no one can hurt me!" said Ella, as her emotion and color-changing eyes were red. (When she felt no emotion her eyes would be black. But when she felt any strong emotions like happiness, anxiety, sadness, pain, or anger, a devils's eyes would turn red, and the angel's eyes would turn white.) "Don't do that, Ella! There are some really nice people out there." said Grace, hoping it would make her change her mind. But it didn't.
