Rhea was such a fantasy dreamer, dreaming that once the world was full of magical things, unicorns that the Chinese wouldn't eat, dragons from the ocean and much more. But her Fantasy changed, everything, after she met The Shadow in the worse way possible...
Now I am on a plane,all clean and comfortable, with medicine in my gut. My mom said I been in a plane when I was really little, so I look out the window, and the fear of heights took me over.
"Oh gosh...uhh so high..." I say still looking out the window.
"you ok Rhea?" Addie asks, while touching my arm. I wish I was not near the window!
"I-I guess..Just so high!"
"Of course! We are on a plane anyway." She grins. Chase stared at the ground, probably having a big fit in his mind. I feel bad for him. When something he does not like, it takes him a while to get over it.
"So where we going mommy?" Addie asks, while licking a lolly pop. I drink water while listening.
"I believe we are going to New York..." Mom says, with a not liking New York tone. I spit the water in my mouth at Addie.
"NEW YORK??" I exclaim, "I do not want to go to a stinky city, with a bunch of stupid idiots there! And that's where all the chaos happens in movies!!" Addie looks at me with a evil stare, water dripping off her short almost blond hair. Chase looks over and starts laughing.
"You deserve that Addie!" Chase giggles filled the air plane, and people turn to see who is causing all the noise. Addie throws a punch at Chase, and me.
"Hey, knock it off or you are going to get in big trouble!" Says dad, facing his warning eyes at Addie. As they keep talking, I got scared. What if the plane explodes!! oh gosh! But I just got to have faith in God. I lean back, and pick a book out of the seat in front of me, and I get lost in the book before me.
Hours later, the plane came to a sudden stop, making me jump. As a voice filled the plane, to get off, everyone rustled and bustled, trying to get out. Addie and Chase were fast asleep, with their eyes twitching in their dreams. I smile, feeling all giddy and happy. As we get off, the same people who saved us, beckon us, maybe towards a hotel? That be expensive! unless they pay? No idea. Dad starts talking to them, as we get into a, limo!?! I feel like a super star, as I get in the limo, with my family. Now time to sit on our butts again. Addie watches sponge bob square pants, the show my mom absolutely hates, but its better then some. Chase start whining, for he needs to move his body. Mom holds his hand, while looking at me here and there. I look out the windows, at the tall buildings, kinda expecting the twin towers, but to remember...I start to hum, seeing so many cars pass by. Boy! Why do so many people live here, in the nasty place? I guess its just some like cities so much. I'm kinda a city girl...I guess but I do hate big cities. We stop, at a tall building, kinda nice.
"Very ugly" Dad mutters under his breath looking at it with disgust. Addie giggles while playing with her fingers. We get out, with the man leading us towards, the complicated building. I look at the high ceiling, gaping with wonder. We get the room, in 456. We go up the elevator, into our room. two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. Addie went into one room.
"THERE'S THREE BEDS IN HERE!" Addie yells with excitement, "BOO YA BABY I GET MY OWN BEEED!
"Shut up Addie" I say still looking over all the delicacies.
"umm, what are we going to wear?" Chase asks, and that's whats in my mind too. Our parents were about to speak, but all the sudden the same man, comes in with bags in his hands.
"Here, now you don't need to wear those nasty clothes tomorrow!" He says with a slight smile.
"All good sizes, right?" Addie asks, again to loud.
"i got that covered in time" He nods his head "Have a good night" He leaves the room, with us smiling.
"Well God helped us well" Dad says.
Later, we were all nice and clean, and situated, mom was sure glad there was a oven and stove, because she does hate microwaves. All of us, Addie does not like microwaved mac and cheese, she said 'the microwave killed it!' leaving us all laughing. We blessed our food, and ate chicken in rice, with crackers and cheese. As all was finished, us kids went to bed, whispering, while I, try to listen to the news mom and dad are watching now.
"Now the FBI got the man who some call The Someone, The alien, or mostly The Shadow, for he seems to disappear many times, as a shadow, and..." The news man was cut off by a woman saying, "He's so freaking hot..." It sounds like shes daydreaming mostly.
"Carl!" The news man whispers then went back to the news, "It seems to appear, this man came not from earth, but from somewhere else..."
"Yes...We are not alone, there is people, people kinda like us, who are cuteee..."
I stop listening then think, he's not from earth, he is so dreamy and evil, tries to kill me...I don't know...all the sudden a longing for him came to me....
