Rhea was such a fantasy dreamer, dreaming that once the world was full of magical things, unicorns that the Chinese wouldn't eat, dragons from the ocean and much more. But her Fantasy changed, everything, after she met The Shadow in the worse way possible...
As I wake up, the images of those kids were vivid in my mind. Sadness and fear overwhelms me as the pictures of blood and tearing noises filled my mind. Also, I couldn't get those questions out of my mind. I sigh as I get up. My back aches from laying on the hard ground. When I slowly get up, I hear Addie then Chase cry.
"Whats wrong??" I ask while hugging my shivering siblings.
"I wet my pants" ...sob..."b-because, it was so scary in the dark...and to cold!" Addie keeps crying when she says "I wonder how that wind s-scared me.." I look at her who's all ways crying, is crying for real, I think. Chase told me that this happen to him to so I said with a forced smile, "No worry's, I'm not going to get mad, makes perfect sense, anyhow." I then notice a blanket, sitting where we all slept that awful night. I also saw a pair of clothes for all of us..and food. Addie sees it to, so she runs towards it, like a happy cat.
"Hey don't eat that! It might be poisoned!!" I say with a bossy voice, but of course she takes a bit of a sweet looking apple.
"THIS IS REALLY GOOD!!" Addie exclaims, as she takes another bite.
"Addie!! Now your going to die...!" Yells Chase with a sob,"oh no, oh no!"
"I AM DOT!!" She says with a mouthful of food,"Dany ay, I ike it!" I put my hand to my head, as she says "Ooh Pancakes!! but they frozen, pleh pleh" All the sudden, the sun, very enchanting rises above the snowy mountains, with a orange and red shining across the land.
"That's pretty.." Says Chase, surly bewitched by the beauty. I look at the sun for a moment, then walk over to the food with all the nice clothes, while Addie complain's how she did not sleep well that night. I look to find a nice hand writin letter that says "Clothes and food for the 'Wonder Children' ;)" I just stare at it thinking that I know who did this...
"Ok guys, go get dress behind those trees.. I guess" I say with a shrug. Why would a "devil" help us, when a "angel" laughs while we suffer?? wow that's a great thought. Hopefully it was the opposite. I grab the biggest clothes, and walk behind a tree. Addie and Chase were fighting, which place was batter for them. I looked at the clothes, to find a skirt with flowers, and a pretty blue shirt, with a big butterfly on it. Pretty good for me!
"CAN YOU HELP ME RHEA!!!" Addie walks toward me, with the same looking clothes, backwards, "My clothes just wont cooperate!" I laugh as she tries to fix her messed up clothes. I help her with a sigh, wondering why shes having a hard time? Chase walks towards us, with a T-shirt and shorts. Just blue and brown. pretty boring.
"Now time to eat!" says Chase with excitement. While we ate, Addie was reading her bible, then says "Lets gooo to town I don't like it here!"
"I do" says Chase, "Better then the stupid city!"
"Well lets just go, I don't want to stay here by ourselves" I say as I get up getting the supplies. Chase just follows along, with a grumpy face. When we get there, Police men were running around shouting, like kids, one said "there hasn't been this much excitement in ages. Come on boys, lets go see whats going on here!" We stare at the cops as they run about doing their work. Maybe about those torn up kids...We walk into a burger king with relief. Even if we did eat, I just want to get into a building!
"Hey lets order some yummy pancakes this time!" shouts Addie.
"Ok but not to much" I say. Chase looks at the TV and pokes me, "What Chase?" I ask a bit meanly.
"Look at the news Rhea!! Something bad's going on and I can't wait to see what happens." I look at the news hearing the news lady says "There appears to be A Tsunami in Utah, but there is no ocean near by, so how can this be?" A news guys says "well its seems to be man made, but it is about as high as the planes go.." I ponder on that for a bit. What the heck is going on?? "In Australia a snake never seen before shown up" a picture shows the snake about as big as the tallest tower, and it had red dots all over it black and white body. "And that's not all..a ..." I hear screams on the television. Smoke seems to fill the area. I stare confused. The people in the Burger King gasp, as this happens. All the sudden the TV's in the room exploded. Chase, Addie and I all stare at each other, wondering what in the world is going on. Oh goodness...
