Rhea was such a fantasy dreamer, dreaming that once the world was full of magical things, unicorns that the Chinese wouldn't eat, dragons from the ocean and much more. But her Fantasy changed, everything, after she met The Shadow in the worse way possible...
While doing the dishes, I try to read the magazine that's on the table. I smile as I hear Addie giggle. Someone knocks on the door and my mom opens it, maybe knowing who it is. Kait runs in with her family. Her mom hugs my mom, and Jackson, Kaits brother, runs and shouts, with glee as he sees Addie. Addie and Jack of good friends. Kaits older sister however, sat down on her phone, named Martha.
"Hello Rhea!" Kait says, smiling.
"Hi, how are you?" I ask still doing the dishes.
"Oh I'm doing fine, but guess what!" She says with bulging eyes, "when I look on google on my phone, it will not tell a thing whats going on! Its just telling some lies, and that crap." I nod my head, as I see Kaits dad talking to mine. Jack hugs me.
"I s-seen you on the news! It so scary Rhea!" Jack says with little tears coming out of his eyes.
"Aww, don't cry Jack." I say as soothing as possible. I look and see Kait on her phone maybe on the news or something. I look over her shoulder, to see that shes watching videos of some strange spaceship coming over Canada. Jack starts blabbing on about the FBI, but I was so interested in the video, that I did not notice a thing.
"Rhea, I think these are people who are just pretending to come from space or something."
"No its real Kait" I whisper.
"I mean, Jackson is into this stuff, and it makes sines, since he is 7." after a long comment I say,
"Kait, did he escape?"
"Ummm who?"
"The guy, um shadow man or somethin." I say shaking.
"Let me look..." she says, looking worriedly at me, "this is secret stuff, so I gotta hack in." She was very focused on her phone trying to figure it out. I walk over the window, seeing people running. From what...? I look at the sky, there was a big black hole.
"OMG!" Kait shouts as she looks out the window also. "They talked about this, its one of the black holes in space, it so close!" I look at mom.
"Whats wrong Rhea?" She asks, then looking out of the window. She gasps. Chase start yelling its the end of the world. Well, New York is the place where all the chaos happens at. I put my hand on my chest, feeling sick of everything.
"We got to leave now!" My dad says, with anger. The glass breaks, and the wind almost would'av knocked me over, if it had not been Kait tugging on me. Then Martha start saying,
"Rhea, are you a magnet to death or something?" I do not say anything, but kept staring out of the window. I say a short prayer, and run towards the door. A guy, I seen so many times, Mr. Kicks, start talking fast to dad.
"You will not take her away!" my dads whisper echoed around the room. Paper falls of the shelves, and loud thuds filled the room.
"Come on Rhea, everyone's out now!" Kait yells at me. Why am I hesitating? I get out of the room, leaning against the wall. Mr. Kicks leads us down the stairs, as mom and Kait holds my hands.
"Mr. O'Connor, we need to separate you from Rhea. Some how, something or someone is after her, and we need to put her somewhere safe," Mr. Kicks says, looking at me, then back at my parents who are trying to go down the stairs. I wish nothing is happening, so I could just sit down and read! My dad all the suddenly punches Mr.Kicks in the face. I gasp, as blood ran down his face. Well he just messed with my dad who is not in a good mood right now.
I look behind me, the room 456, was being teared apart. Addie, Jackson and Chase start crying. The pictures on the walls were falling apart, cracks form on the walls.
"Come on kids" Kaits mom says, beckoning us on. I was behind everyone, with whispers echoing in my head. What in the world is going on? Well I hope I don't fall down the stairs again. That was sure a pain. Its funny how my friends just got here, in time for disaster. We got down stairs in time, and it felt the whole building was, moving. Loud screams. Cries. All of that. I look around, with people on the ground, or wherever. I think the FBI start running towards me. I gulp, as they take my hands, and bring me outside running. My mom screams after them, Kait yells as one tried to calm them. As I got out the building was less in trouble now. I got in the car, not really paying attention. I think I fight, but I was in a daze. Soothing words were around me. I hear police sirens, even fire truck sirens fill the air, with that loud annoying noise. I feel tears falling of my cheeks, as I look out the window. The men seem to be in such a hurry. To fast, it could all be a dream. Nothing felt comfortable at all, it feels like, someone else is inside me, but that's a stupid thought is it? I lay in the seat, as the men and woman also, in the back with me, were trying to talk to me, but could not. They were thrown back, with gasps. Yes, I think I got another soul inside me...
