One day, in a normal city, Adam and his friend James were hanging out, when all of a sudden, a portal opened underneath them and they fell in. After what had felt like forever, they landed in a giant pit of sand. Then when they looked around them, they realized that they weren't in just a pit of sand, they were in ancient Egypt!
They were both wondering what had just happened when a mysterious figure appeared right in front of them.
“I am the Guide of the Realm,” it said. “I will help you through your journey.”
“What journey?” Adam asked.
“You do want to get back to your own time, don't you?” G.O.R. (Guide of the Realm) asked.
“Of course,” Adam said.
“Then follow me,” G.O.R. said.
So Adam and James followed G.O.R.
“So where are we going?” James asked.
“We are going to see if the pharaoh can help,” G.O.R. replied.
On the way, Adam noticed a large rock with writing on it, except some of it had faded. It said,” Beware the of Realm.”
“I wonder what that means,” he said to himself.
Eventually, they reached the pharaoh and told him their problem.
“Perhaps it was someone you would least expect,” he said.
“Ok, I'll think about that. Thanks for the help.” Adam said.
On their way out, Adam noticed that one of the pillars had writing on it, although some of it had faded too. It said, ” The Guide is not to be trusted.”
After walking for a while, Adam saw another stone with writing, so he read it. He was very surprised at what it said, this one said,” The Guide is the enemy.”
It couldn't be he thought. He told this to James and he was just as surprised. So they both approached the Guide and asked him,” Are you the one that sent us back in time?”
“HOW DID YOU FIND OUT!” G.O.R. roared.
Then suddenly another portal appeared, this one much bigger than the other one. After that, the Guide of the Realm's hood turned dark red and an enormous barrier of fire appeared around him. So Adam and James ran for their lives. Then out of the portal, the Empire State Building fell and nearly flattened them. Suddenly the land of Egypt disappeared and they were surrounded by a gigantic cage. The Guide was now throwing fireballs at them, but Adam found a giant radar dish probably from the Empire State Building, and when the guide threw another fireball at him, Adam ran behind the dish. The fireball was deflected by it and it hit the Guide.
“NOOOOOO!” the Guide screamed.
Then the Guide disappeared and everything faded from view. Suddenly then found themselves exactly where they had been before as if nothing had even happened at all
