Chapter 2 of 3 - First hours of Junior high

Candice was first to be off the bus, jumping up and down. "Oh, you seem happy for school, why?" A boy asks. "Oh, You seem you hate school, why?" Candice smiles jumping around. "Umm are you like 12 and you are acting like a 5 year old??" Candice cocks an eyebrow. "Dude! I am 14! Aren't 14 year olds always like this???" "ummm....no? Bye!!!" The boy runs off making Candice slump. Why did the boy leave? Candice was having a greaaat time talking!! Then she found out why... "Hey! New kid!" A rude voice speaks up from behind. Candice turned around, smiled and pointed at herself. "Who...me?" Candice says not scared a bit how tall and tough looking how the boy looks. A couple of girls and boys are behind him with creepy smirks. "No the other guy!" "Oh" Candice starts walking off. "Yes you! You numb skull!" One of the girls piped up, who has a evil looking nose ring and yucky black hair that goes down to her chin. "Hey! That is not very nice!" Candice crossed her arms looking at all them thinking 'why in the world are these people mean? Did I do something dumb...?' "Ohh...not very nice ehh? Now where did Jackson go!" The first boy bark who seems to be the leader. Candice thinks that though. "WHO??" The "Leader" grabs Candice by the shirt. "The boy you were talking to! You are the dumbest thing...and you put so much makeup on to look so pretty huh??" Candice grew with anger, that bubbled inside her happy, cheerful body. She almost wanted to say that her so called "makeup" was there ever since she was born. Of course she did not though. "Hmm...I wonder who this girl is? She must be a spoiled brat?" Candice says naturally. They rolled their eyes. The "leader" loses his grip and nods his head to a blondie girl. Then the blondie summer salted in the air to kick Candice. Candice rolls her eyes this time and Jumps 6 feet over the blondie's head and "cannonballs" into the grass...which seem to go soft and sticky. PLOP!! 'Oops' Candice thought, giggling. She gets up and starts running at the speed of a cheetah as the bullies curse under their breath. The school bell rang, just in time as Candice reaches the front doors. "Okay...so where is my class??" Candice glances around and remembers how to get to class. She starts doing cartwheels, excitedly. The 7th graders stare at her in awe as the 9th graders stared at her thinking "she's an idiot" As you see, not many people like Candice as she does cartwheels and flips in the air...well because...for no reason??!!?? That is just...umm, so Candice gets to her class on time seeing a teacher whose glasses were much to small for Candice's liking. Sooo very quickly she makes glasses that are 1 foot wide and in length. How she makes them is from her...oh never mind...you won't believe....So she puts the glasses quickly on the teachers nose and....oh dear! And she breaks the original glasses. Now as you can see the glasses are much to big that the teacher gasps as she notices the rather unpleasant stickiness. The teacher shakes her head and just keeps wearing those funny looking glasses. The tardy bell rings. "OH! Hello! You must be Candice Cotton!! And I am Mrs. Everdeen!" Mrs. Everdeen smiles at the pretty girl. "Nice to meet you!" Candice smiles back then shakes Mrs. Everdeens hand. When Mrs.Everdeen tries to take her hand away...she could not. Candice's smile turned into a frown as she noticed she just released her stickiness power...cottoncandy. "Oh my!" The poor teacher tries to pull away, "I am so sorry, I forgot to wash my hands after I ate that chocolate..." You could hear the laughter in the room that is trying to be hold back by total calmness. But the children, however, could not, for also...the glasses that Candice so kindly made for Mrs. Everdeen causes them to burst. "....Umm! OH! THERE AGO!" Candice shouts happily as their hands pulled apart, but Mrs. Everdeen screams as she flies back, crashing into piles of paperwork! That really made the children rolling on the ground. Candice rushes to Mrs. Everdeen's side. "Oh! I am sooo sorry Mrs.! I promise that will never happen again!" Candice tries to hold back tears. "Oh...no worries! I am alright!" She gets up. Candice sees some cottoncandy on the floor and picks it up quickly. She smiles and runs back to her seat. "Oh! I guess you already know Miss Cotton here!" Mrs. Everdeen brushes herself off and started to teach, while still, the kids laugh. Now during class time, it was pretty boring for Candice to do nothing but listen to the Teacher...so she started daydreaming things she shouldn't be daydreaming about. All she thinks is about Garrett how they first met at this park. She was running to refresh her brain then she bumps into Garrett who was running himself. Now you get it, that's what she is daydreaming about. "Candice? Are you listening?" Mrs. Everdeen says with her funny looking glasses. "Hmm?" Candice murmurs. The bell rings and everyone had to go to their different classes. Candice was out far away from the classroom when Mrs. Everdeen wants to talk to her. A small 7th grader comes by and hands the teacher a mirror. The teacher shuts the door without any kids in there and screams. Cottoncandy was all over her hands and some on her face. Not only that, the cottoncandy glasses.
