This story is about 3 young children who were raised in the woods by a herd of lions. It's winter and too cold to travel but their home is taken away what will they do?
King Darkan handed out food for everyone to carry no-one was to be selfish and eat without thinking about the others who does will not get anymore food for the journey. King Darkan knew this was harsh but it was the only way to get them to listen. Their journey started the very moment their home was destroyed. Evelin Adeline and Joshua had on thick coats and ridded on the lions backs their coats weren't warm enough so they had to cuddle in the lions fur. The journey was long and hard on them but it was not over yet. In the night they walked because it was too cold to rest at day they slept. When they were lucky they gathered some left over food from other animals. They ate as little as possible and even at day when they sleep they had to put on a fire that would go off after about 30 minutes. When they slept the would sleep in a circle in the middle Adeline Joshua and Evelin would sleep. The more fur you had the farther at the outside you would sleep. The less you had the closer in the middle you would sleep. We all kept each other warm.
