"Are you okay?" standing across from me, Thalia gave me a worried expression. "You've been stressing out about meeting with Alpha. Are you sure you want to do this?" she asked. "Yes, I'm sure," I replied quietly. Looking back, I should have run away while I still had the chance. But I couldn't, I needed to tell Alpha. Even if it got me banned. "Okay." Thalia gave me one last worrisome look, then knocked on Alpha's door. We waited a few minutes, then she knocked again. Finally, the door opened, and Alpha appeared. "Hello Alpha, I would like to talk to you about something. If that's alright." I said hoping he couldn't sense my nervousness. "Oh. Luke, Thalia. Come in, what do you need to tell me?" Alpha asked as he opened the door so we could come in. "S-sir, its about the Nevermore." Alpha immediately looked up. "Luke. What have I told you about the Nevermore?", "To leave it up to you. Yes, I know but I found something. And I think it could help." he sighed. "Alright, what is it?", "Well, you see S-sir, I can't really show you it right now. But I really do think it could help." he shook his head. A long eerie silence filled the room. Finally, Thalia said something. Breaking the silence. "Sir, I've actually seen what Luke's discovered. I also think it'll help us. The only problem is that he'll have to go on a quest with three other members of our pack to get one last thing." Alpha looked at Thalia then me. "Are you a hundred percent sure that your willing to do this? I'm not going to force you into something you want to do unless you're completely sure that you want to?" I nodded. "Ok then, I'll assemble three other members to go with you. Make sure you pack everything you're going to need. "Ok, thank you Sir." he gave me a small nod. "Oh, and Luke." , "Yes sir." He looked me in the eyes. "Be safe.", I nodded. "I will."
