Once upon a time, there was a girl called Serena Whitman. She was 6 years old. She loved dolls and she had a whole collection of them. One Christmas Eve, she wrote a letter to Santa saying, "Dear Santa, this Christmas, I'd like a new doll. It should be a princess doll with a sparkly, gold tiara. My collection is almost complete. After this doll, it'll be complete and I'd be able to make up silly stories for them to act out! That's all I'm asking for this Christmas! Thank you, Santa! Love, Serena." The next day, Serena woke up only to see a princess doll with a sparkly, gold tiara, just like what she asked for! Yay, she thought, Thank you Santa! Serena brought her new doll everywhere. From the movies to sleepovers to parties! But there was only one problem. She didn't want to share it. When someone asked her, "Wow, such an outstanding doll! Can I borrow it, please?" "No! This is my doll!," she'd reply. Her mother, Nancy Whitman was very worried about her. "Is it okay that she isn't sharing her doll?", she'd ask her husband, Bob Whitman. He'd reply, "Nancy, don't worry! It's just her age, I'm sure she'll share when she's elder." Her mother would nod, but not totally convinced. The next day, her mother asked Serena sweetly, " Serena, dear, why don't you ever share your doll?" Serena replied with complete innocence, "I don't know, Mommy. Maybe it was wrong of me to not share it." Her mother nodded, "Yes, I think so. Why don't you go apologise to all the people you didn't share it with? That'd be so nice," "Okay Mommy," Serena replied. And she did apologise. And she never said "No" when someone asked her to borrow her things again.
