Secrets are never what you think & Love can be misinterpreted
Two unexplainable grown apart best friends realize they haven't quite figured out why they grew apart in the first place. But really, the reason was that one of them has been keeping a big secret. That could change both of there views forever.
Nigel then turned his body more towards me, looking at me curiously not knowing why I'm apologizing exactly " Why are you apologizing? " " What? I though you knew why " " No I don't, could you tell me why? " I then felt my heart drop and the butterfly's in my stomach began to flutter. " Uh, I will, um after you tell me what you uh have to say " " Uh okay? So, the reason why I told you to meet me here is because I want a real honest explanation why we grew apart for four years. Because we did have a really good friendship and bond. So much so, It was unbelievable to me when I think back to all those fun years with you as a good friend. But now, It's very questionable. " I then sighed and sympathetically looked into Nigel's gleaming crystal clear blue eyes and sighed deeply " I wish I could tell you, but I don't want you to start thinking or looking at me differently. " Nigel then looked at me deeply and put his hand on my forearm " Why would you think such a stupid thing? What you should know is that nothing in this whole world could make me look or consider you differently or any less than I accept you now Ryan. So, please don't think otherwise " I then looked down and sighed again " Wow, I haven't been told such things in what feels like forever. Thank you for all that, it really makes things a tad bit easier to say now " " Good, that's what I was hoping to know. So, can you tell me please? " He said still having his big hand on my small forearm " Okay then, the exact reason why I let us grow apart is because I um - " I then suddenly got interrupted when it all of sudden began to rain. We both then got up and slowly started to head back home.
