I thought my life amazing,
So full of life and happiness.
But sometimes things change.
Now I'm just too stressed.
I used to be lively and outgoing,
Supporting myself and others.
But I've seen the dangers and horrors of the world.
I'm not the same. I'm something worse.
I've been broken down again and again,
Hit and bruised and scarred.
I thought I had a whole family.
But seeing what they truly are, it's just to hard.
I used to shut myself in my room as my mum and dad
Screamed at my brother for not doing things right.
I've lied, I've acted, but not for good. For bad. For worse.
I've put on a fake smile too many times, hoping for the light.
My anger, my sorrow, my pain, my lies
It's too hard for me to hold on my shoulders.
I collapse with the guilt on me, too tired to care.
Then tears come, dropping to the floor like boulders.
I've loved my friend for a long time,
But I know she doesn't like me back at all.
She isn't bi or lesbian, I know it.
But she doesn't know what caused me to fall.
I'm not your normal teenage girl,
Everything aching and hurting too much.
Depression and frustration clouded around me like fog.
I need someone to support me, I need one gentle touch.

Too many things to remember and do,
