All Ashe ever wanted in his life was to please his two older sisters, Raine and Stormy. Their parents were killed at a young age, so they're the only ones soft, shy Ashe has to look up to. He especially wants them to let him into their gang, the Hydrowards. However, after being discouraged by both of his sisters, Rain runs away to prove he can be bad. Several years later, when he's part of his own gang, his sisters finally find him... and are begging for his help. Ashe doesn't want to trust them; he hates them! But, when he hears about the danger, he knows this is something he and his sisters gotta do... together.
As soon as the door was closed, Star finally let go of Ashe. "What do you want, Star?" Ashe whispered-shouted. "What do you think?!" she hissed back. "Please don't tell me this is about them." "Of course it's about them! You're lucky they didn't hear you say that! Can you at least try to be a little kinder?" "Whatever... They shunned me because I was weak and shy. Just because of that, they crushed me as a kid." Star's teeth barred as her left iris became pooled with a dark cyan (usually they're a warm chocolate brown color). "You realize you hurt them as well, right?" Ashe looked up at her. "Maybe they discouraged you as a kid, but you were the one who ran away. You were the one who left them without them knowing. Your parents, when they died, gave your sisters the one job of protecting you, and you made them fail that job. You made your sisters fail the one wish your parents had," she growled. Ashe froze at the mention of his parents. As he thought about it in silence, he started to feel a bit guilty. Star sighed as her eye went back to normal. "Look, you can hate them all you want. But even the most hated people deserve respect. And also..." She turned and grasped the doorknob. "I looked through the documents on the way here... you'd better listen to what they have to say. It's not just about you." And with that, she turned and went back inside.
A few minutes after Star entered the suite, Ashe followed and sat down. "So... your part of the deal; will you tell us what these documents are?" he asked, trying to not sound super gruff. Star gave him a slight nod of approval. Stormy opened up the yellow file; two thinner, white files slid out. Ashe picked up one with some sort of classification number on it and slid the papers out. "Those are your files, Ashe." Raine pointed out. Ashe looked at his picture on the front; they didn't even look like the same person. As Ashe grew up, his hair became darker, his skin grew tanner, and his entire shape had completely changed from small and thin to tall and muscular. "That was the last picture anyone took of you for ages... about a week before you ran away. And here are all your other records," Husky observed, pointing at the date of the picture, then the other papers in the files. Ashe looked through his records; no criminal charges, no bad history with his community, and his school records, which only went up to second grade. However, all his grades were A's and B's. "Did was I seriously that much of a nerd back then?" Ashe laughed. Stormy chuckled. "Yep. You were also a huge ladies boy back then; all the girls were impressed at the fact that you had no parents but still had the highest grades in your class." "He's still a huge ladies guy; just ask Hazel!" Allister piped in. Ashe's face grew red almost instantly as his eyes widened; Hazel was a friend of the gang, especially Ashe. She was also half-siren, a mermaid-like creature that has immense power in her voice and singing. And she was Ashe's crush. "Who's Hazel?" Raine asked. "N-no one...! Uhhh, what's in the other packet?!" Ashe exclaimed, trying to avoid the subject. Almost instantly, the atmosphere grew thick, and Ashe had an uneasy feeling that he either made a mistake or brought up something that would change his life.
