Mochi Ai is the sweetest, cutest, most kawaii person you could ever know. Returning to her stepmom and dad back in USA from the Harajuku district of Japan, she meets the alpha of her new school, a wolf-and-dragon hybrid named Drake. Poetic, huh? As the two get to know each other, however, Drake realizes Mochi has some nasty skeletons in the closet. What is she? Who is she?
The following month was pretty fun for Mochi and her new friends. Since she'd arrived during late November, the four got to spend lots of time together during December. Thea and Anais finally admitted that they were dating, even though it was kinda obvious in the first place. It started snowing early December, so that gave everyone a couple extra days off from school. Another thing that Mochi learned about Drake was that he HATED cold weather. It kinda made sense, since dragons are reptiles, and therefore cold-blooded. However, that didn't stop Mochi from finding a loophole! So, one day, she presented Drake with a new winter coat and tail warmer. "My dad bought it, but it was too smol... you can have it, Drakey!!!" Mochi exclaimed. So, most of winter break, Mochi, Drake, Thea and Anais played outside in the snow, or doing some wintry activity. For Christmas, all their families went to an amazing Ski & Skating Lodge where Mochi was able to learn how to ice-skate, and Thea expressed her love for cooking. Honestly, Mochi loved America more than Japan, and she was secretly developing feelings for Drake. However, there was one obstacle...
The day after Winter Break was over, Mochi was decorating her locker with some photos of her and her friends at the ski lodge during lunch break. She was just setting up her locker before heading up to the roof to hang out with the others. No one else was in the hall except for a brown-haired raccoon girl in a pink dress and black stockings. Suddenly, the girl approached her. "Hey, girly! You're Mochi, correct?" she asked in a cold tone. Mochi turned around and nodded at the stranger. "Yep! Can I help chu?" Mochi said. The other girl took a step towards her. "Yeah, you can, actually. My name is Valerie, and I'm Drake's girlfriend." Mochi looked stunned. "'Kanojo' (girlfriend)?" Valerie's face turned from emotionless to angry and annoyed. "Stop speaking in Japanese! This is America, gosh darn it!" She took a breath and smiled menacingly. "As I was saying, yes, I'm Drake's girlfriend... or as he calls me his 'ex'. However, I still love him, and no one will take him away from me. You know what a 'Senpai' is, right, Japanese Girl?" Valarie said, stepping closer to Mochi, who was looking scared and uncomfortable. "Well, Drake is my Senpai." "I-I don't know what that has to do with me..." Mochi whimpered. Suddenly, Valarie shoved Mochi into her locker and slammed it shut.
"Stay away from Senpai. If you tell anyone, then I won't hesitate to stab you, Japanese Girl."
